International Beauty Salon in Fort Worth, TX

This was truly an awful experience. She's just an awful stylist and had a nasty attitude the entire time. She didn't use heat protectant, Causing further heat damage. Another thing, she kept telling me my hair was 4c and I'm very clearly 4a in front and 4b in back, my hair was just dry at the moment. She charge me 90 because she claim my hair was 4c, and even if it was, a good hair stylist should know how to work on all hair textures. She had an extra weird vibe, and not friendly at all. She had this little attitude from the second I walked in. Very strange. On top of almost a hundred dollars, she tried to charge me 25 extra for a trim. That's UNHEARD OF. She tried to upcharge her hair nets saying you can only get them in the DR for 10 bucks. I buy them at the beauty supply stores here all the time.. this lady is a scam and a joke. Overall, my hair looks basic and I'm out a hundred bucks. Her products and technique are mediocre, and her attitude and customer service is awful.

This place ONLY takes cash! I brought my daughter in to have her hair deep conditioned... not only did is cost $80 but they did not inform me prior to service that they only accept cash... when I went to pay I was obviously unable to use my card. I had to go to an ATM to pull out money. When I told them this they refused to let me take my child with me to go next door. This is unacceptable. I was literally walking next door. I have never returned to this establishment and I would strongly encourage others to refrain from coming here... it's over priced, not very good service, cash only and they are not upfront with their customers. If I could give this place zero stars I would but unfortunately I have to add something in order to write a post.

I received a "trim" that was more like a 2-3 inch hair cut that I didn't ask for; however, my hair has a lot of body and is super straight just like I wanted. If it wasn't for the hair cut and the $20 up charge for the hair cut I did not request, this would have been a 4 or 5 star visit easy.

December 2012 visit First let me say my hair was the worst before i got into the shop, it was broken off, brittle and matted after taken off a quick weave and i was in tears. Since im from georgia i had to look around for a place to help me and i found this place. When i walked in she (yomari) was nothing but nice and she looked over my hair and told me what i needed done. She suggested a cut and i decline. I thought my hair would never never look healthy again but she brought it back to life and it looked better before the quick weave. If only she would move to georgia, i would be in heaven. Oh yes she plays christian music which allowed me to worship in total freedom, cause i rather hear bending on my knees to worship than bending on my kness for anything else. My overall experience is this, If you love your hair then you will love this place, its just that simple.

Was only going to get my hair straightened and curled. By the time my experience was over, I left with a an unapproved hair cut and cheated out of $15 dollars, despite the price list on the board behind the register. When I inquired about the price she lied and said I asked for a hair cut, whenI specifically asked her to turn me around to the mirror to ensure she was not cutting my hair. She charged me $75 for this and was defensive whenI asked about the price increase. I was accused of being argumentative and she walked off when I attempted to reason with her....keep in mind that the whole time Yomari was curling my hair she was talking about God and Christian music was playing all day for the ENTIRE FIVE HOURS I WAS HELD IN THE SALON. PEOPLE ARE A TRIP! Beware!
