Friends recommended and I wasn't disappointed! Best braid work I've found in Denver so far but a little pricey. The work is great though!

Do not go here! I asked for large knotless braids for my daughter and she gave my daughter medium braids that were nothing like the pictures. She also did squares and then triangles in the front without asking my daughter and then had to redo them to be squares like the rest. None of the hair was large at all. Ends were so skinny and just looks so unprofessional. The worst part is that she cut my daughter's real hair because she was upset she had to redo them. My daughter told her not too cut that short and that her hair was longer which she knew when she started her hair. My daughter was crying when she left. She has never been this upset when leaving a salon.

On March 23 I used StyleSeat to book with this Salon. The app showed my card was declined, however the charge was clearly made and was immediately reflected on my banking app, which I showed to the shop owner. 1) the charge was for ~$122, which included a 15% promo StyleSeat offered. 2) the shop owner insisted she did not get paid...because of the StyleSeat app. I tried to explain it was an app issue, not my issue and she requested I send an email to StyleSeat, which I did, since they do not have a customer service phone number. 3) The shop owner then complained that not only was I wrong and she hadn't been paid, she had to pay 40% to StyleSeat for even taking me as a client they referred, which I explained was not my problem.

The exchange was completely unprofessional, in front of the entire shop, AND the shop owner continued to demand she be paid. I left, attempted to contact StyleSeat again for resolution, and PAID HER SHOP A SECOND TIME, for $144 to cover the 15% promo from StyleSeat so this complaining, unprofessional owner could get ALL her money. Turns out, StyleSeat confirmed the original payment for $122 HAD BEEN PAID AS I SAID, and the owner would have received the 15% directly from StyleSeat.

I left a review on StyleSeat and because of that, the owner has refused to refund the 2nd charge, and instead states that since I left a bad review, she was not going to assist in returning the overpayment. Six days later, she still has not. Which is ok... I will now have the bank reverse the $144 and she can keep the $122.

It's a shame, because the crochet braids were done beautifully, and I would have brought many referrals, but unfortunately some owners are too busy thinking everyone is out to screw them over, so they risk losing customers.

there was a lot of pros and cons to my experience at innocent hair braiding and beauty. the staff were nice and respectful. the previous days leading up to the appointment, i reached out and asked how much it would be for the hair. they gave me a price for box braids, size medium at a price of $150. i was completely okay with paying that price. my appointment was originally scheduled for friday, but they texted and asked me to come tomorrow at 2 pm, and that was fine with me.

when i got to the salon it was neatly decorated and very beautiful on the inside. i was greeted and we immediately began working on the hair without a wait. once she finished one braid, she told me it would be $250 for my style braids. i was a bit shocked at first since i had only brought $150 with me, and the original texts had said $150 for what i was receiving. then with more talk they told me the prices were never $150 and that they were $180 and up. i was fine with that as they had already started, so i proceeded with that price.

the process took about 5 1/2- 6 hours, and during the process, there was lot of noise next door. it sounded like people were banging instruments, and you could feel the walls shaking and the vibrations of the music booming through the wall. this wasn't upsetting, but actually startling at times. the woman braiding my hair stopped numerous times to pick up the phone which was fine as she could be talking to clients, but it made the braiding process longer which was a bit frustrating. whilst she was parting my hair, she did not part them in box form. it looked more like squiggly boxes/deformed triangles then actual square boxes. for my first time being here, but not the first time getting box braids, it felt a bit different then what i was used to. i know people braid differently, but the woman who did my hair before charged $100 for a much nicer style then what i received today. when my hair was getting braided, the woman felt as if she was pulling out my real hair in the process. it was a bit rough, but endurable. towards the end, she started cutting at my hair. i know a lot of people use that method, but it was almost as if she was cutting the real hair that was still sticking out from my braids. my real hair is very precious to me, and i've been trying to grow it out for years now, but feeling her cut at it felt like all the work i did to grow it out was being wasted. towards the end she sprayed some unfamiliar spray on my head and applied mousse which was okay. for $180 (which i ended paying $187) i would think about how much you love your hair before coming here.

This is my second time getting braids from Innocent Hair Braiding. The first time I really needed someone to braid my hair on a Sunday. She doesn't normally work that day but accommodated my request. I recently asked her to braid my hair again. I arrived to the shop at 9:30 for my appointment and was greeted with a warm welcome. Her shop sells hair and hair products for multiple styles. The price was fair. She had movies playing for myself and her other customer. She offered beverages and was very nice. Her shop was clean and decorated in faux fur and crystal decor. My braids were neat and not too tight. I've received tons of compliments already. I have read the other reviews and my experience was completely different. I recommend this shop and will get services in the future.
