Holiday Hair Salon in Washington, PA

I get my hair done by Angel in the Washington Holiday Hair. She is a Wonderful hair stylist and a kind person! My hair always looks great after she styles it. Everyone should make an appt with her. -Carrie-

As I was leaving Ross, I asked the cashier if there was a place to get a hair cut. Sent me to Holiday Hair. Went down and stood there for over 10 minutes while they were cashing a elderly lady out, then another lady was picking out items for her upcoming appt. Plenty of workers, possible manager relaxing on one of the chairs playing on her phone. Got tired of waiting and went to Great Clips where I was immediately acknowledged and got a hair cut.

Extremely disappointed. My whole experience in the salon was probably 25 minutes. I walk-in & was greeted by a woman who was already styling another customer. I waited out front for 5 minutes until finally the first girl walked to the back to say, "there is a woman waiting out front." I was greeted by a stylist, Monika, who took my information - I wanted a shampoo and haircut. After entering my info into the computer, she walked me back to her station. I had to say, "could I get my hair shampooed please?" She walked me back and only put a small towel under my neck. When I sat up from the chair, my hair was wrapped in a small towel and was dripping down the back of my shirt because she did not put a cape on me. When I walked back to her station, it was very dirty and had cut hair from a previous client all over the seat, foot rest, and floor. She didn't even offer to wipe off the seat. I wiped it off myself before I sat down, to which she said, "oh, sorry about that," but didn't really seem that sorry. I sit down and the entire haircut takes about 5 minutes TOTAL. She asked if I wanted my hair blow-dried, and I said yes. Half-way through, she stops to ask if I wanted it completely dry, or just not dripping - I said completely dry. She stopped again a couple minutes later to ask again if it was "dry enough" - still damp. I gave up and said it was fine because she obviously wasn't interested in taking the time to dry it completely. At the end, she didn't even offer a mirror to check everything out. When I came home, I asked to have a picture taken to see what it looked like - and it is terrible. Very chunky and not even. I am going to have to get another haircut to fix this one. Very, very disappointed.

Very disappointing experience! I felt unwelcome and, although I had an appointment, I had to wait an excess of 40 minutes and get someone else to give me a SIMPLE cut!? I was embarrassed to walk out in public after my visit. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I have had several great experiences with stylists at this salon. I love the way Ashley colors and she is awesome with blowouts.
