Hoa Salon Roosevelt in Seattle, WA

There's over 5 nail salons within in the next 2 blocks here and I find that Hoa Salon is the most friendly of them all. Sure, you're going to be ignored a little when it's busy and you don't know the staff well. As a new customer it was nice to be asked about my day, verify what I wanted, asked if I was satisfied, and they took their sweet time working with me too. Michelle, the owner, is very kind. The place looks a tad run down and is slightly smaller than most shops, but that's only because it's been around for a while. My treatment felt nice and clean!

This was my first time here. I can't recommend enough. Mani/pedi for me and my husband (who has brain injury/sensory issues). They put us in a private room. Every interaction was responsive, accommodating, friendly, great communication, great space, great service, great price. Surpassed all my expectations. Will become a regular. Thank you to all the staff at this establishment.

Just had a pedicure that I was so looking forward to because it had been months. It was aggravating to sit there through such a lame experience. The callous removal lasted under a minute- which I needed the most- the massage lasted a couple minutes. For almost $40 it was a total rip off, done and out of there in 30 minutes. Would not go back. I am on the hunt to find a place that treats customers like they care about giving them an enjoyable experience, this place did not.

I've been going to HOA for over 12 years now & have NEVER been disappointed. Their attention to detail, customer service, quality work, & quick work is beyond comparable. I highly recommend Michelle's establishment and employees. I have received mani/pedis, shellac & non shellac, & waxing services. I decided to get my nails done for the first time in too long and it was a GREAT experience.

I've been visiting Hoa Salon -- and Michelle -- for at least a decade. In fact, Hoa was the first place I went after having each of my two babies because it's such a special "self care" place for me. I started going there because I lived in the neighborhood but I quickly grew to appreciate the skills of Michelle's amazing, longtime technicians, the fact that they have allllllll the best colors (and Michelle knows them by heart and can find you any color you want) and that it's clean and lovely and everything you could possibly want when you're doing a little self care. I am particularly impressed with Michelle's ability to navigate the last couple years during the pandemic -- she's kept her staff working and she's committed to keeping her customers and her employees safe. She's a model small business owner and I'm so grateful for the care she's given me over the years.
