Stopped by to see if they had availability. Was greeted with an annoyed look and was told no immediately. Rude is an understatement. Too many nail salons in this area to have this level of poor customer service. Save your time and money.

i have recently had many problems with this place. i got a pedicure from here and got an infection due to lack of hygiene. i know two other people who also got an infection due to the pedicures at this location. also says walk-ins welcome, but if you are not a regular they will not take you. i used to get my nails done frequently and they always accepted my walk-ins. recently when i have went there would only be one or two people in the salon and they'd still say they did not have time. i understand if it happened every so often but this happens every time i go. i have walked in and asked if they had time for what i wanted then they said no. on my way home i called to make an appointment and i was asked to come in 30 minutes. if walk ins are not welcome do not advertise that they are. simple.
I have always heard great things about Highland Nails. They are all so sweet and willing to give you exactly what you need. My first time going, I was not aware that they closed at 6 and I arrived shortly after that. The woman inside informed me they were closed and I told her I would just come back the next day. She then asked me what I needed done and I showed her my nails and explained that they looked pretty bad due to the previous salon that I went to. She agreed and told me she would just go ahead and take care of me. I needed my toes painted as well and told her I would come back for that but she insisted on letting her do them the same day. I thought this was very nice of her being that they were closed. I go to them every time now and will not go anywhere else. They have never cut me with the drill, nails are always the right shape and dimension, nails are always the length I ask for, and polish always looks flawless. I would highly recommend them over any nail salon in Dothan.
