Seriously, she is incredibly knowledgeable and very dedicated to her craft. She makes every effort to make sure her clients get maximum benefits of her therapy. After having decades of mediocre to good massages Dorthea will show you how a massage is supposed to be done! I had been trying for years to get my husband to enjoy the massage experience (he has a high-stress career and has chronic neck pain). Massage after massage he kept saying he could not feel much benefit. He officially told me he was done with massages. Shortly after moving to Williamsport I found Dorthea and begged him to give it one more try. I purchased him a 90 minute deep tissue with Dorthea. Let me tell you he was a new man. He raved about her talent and said he had not felt this good in years. She was able to relieve tension and pressure he had for a very long time. He was very impressed with her knowledge and understanding of the body. Needless to say we both highly recommend this spa and our very favorite massage therapist Dorthea!!! You will not be disappointed! Also, usually she can fit you in her schedule pretty quickly if you need a last minute massage!

I went to Healthy Touch for a massage to deal with pain I was feeling in my left shoulder. Thoroughly professional and friendly staff. I had no wait when I arrived for my appointment. Massage was wonderful, except for the shoulder which was just painful. Stacey, the masseuse and proprietor, suggested I contact my doctor because she did not believe what I was feeling and describing was muscle related. She could not be sure what it was but suggested I should at least rule out any potentially serious issue before any further appointments. Good thing she did. I had a herniated disc in my neck that was causing the aches and tingling in my neck, arms, and hand. It soon lead to a loss of strength in my left arm amoung many other things. My Doctor and Healthy Touch worked together over the course of almost a full year until the massage therapy, medical procedures, and revised exercise program brought me back...almost as good as new. Without Stacey's recommendation I am have waited longer to see my Doctor...and it might have been a lot worse. Massage can relax you and feels wonderful, but at times, when done correctly and professionally, it can be so much more.

I had a gift certificate so I scheduled a facial & massage. While I was inside filling out new client paperwork, a couple who just had massages were at the front desk paying for their service. After they left, one of the girls who worked there started laughing and commenting about how the couple were both "gingers" and said "they're like magnets." I thought it was incredibly unprofessional and rude. I mean, they're not zoo animals, they're red-heads. Plus, most of us probably assume they talk about us after we leave, but I really didn't want that confirmation. Anyway, Reagan did my facial and I thought she was awesome. Very sweet and gentle and I would definitely go back for her. When she was leaving, she said I think Brandy is your massage therapist and she should be in shortly. A few minutes later, a girl walked in and started getting ready. She didn't introduce herself so I asked her if her name was Brandy. It was and wouldn't you know it, she was also the one who was amused by the "gingers." The massage was ok but she never asked me how the pressure was. I've had terrible massages but even those people have always asked me about the pressure. I just got the feeling that she knew what she was doing but she really could care less and she wasn't consistent with what she was doing on one side compared to the other. When she was done, she said the usual you can leave when you're ready and I didn't even get out a complete "thank you" before she said uh-huh and walked out the door. I would go back one more time but I would definitely request a different massage therapist.

Stylists did a great job. Customer service is terrible. Linda at front desk is rude and condescending. She is the reason I will not go back and would never want family and friends to have to come into contact with her. Another of my family had the same experience.
