Head To Toe Beauty Salon in Tampa, FL

Thus nail salon was FILTHY!! There was nail dust covering the floor from front to back. It did not look as though it had been cleaned in weeks. Even the the two hair stations were dirty. Additionally, the owner brings her very elderly mother to work with her and this poor old lady has no where to comfortably sit or rest, has nothing to drink, and is ignored, which was heartbreaking to witness.

3 weeks ago I had my hair butchered by someone over at Fantastic Sams on Waters and Sheldon. She literally cut my hair twice as short as it should have been and I was incredibly upset. She also completely screwd up my highlights. i finally got the courage up to go to a salon to see if my hair could somehow be salvaged. The lady there was absolutely fantastic! She not only fixed my hair but she made it sooooo much better than what I wanted before my first haircut! I could not be happier and will be recommending her to all of my friends.

When I moved here recently, I was looking for a beauty salon that was not a chain, but not a fancy, expensive salon. I called Head to Toe but was scared off because of the heavy Asian accent of the receptionist there. (I wanted a perm and have never seen an Asian with a perm.) I ended up at a nearby spa/salon and paid way too much for what I got. I decided give Head to Toe a chance. Hera did a wonderful job, is super sweet, and her prices were very reasonable. It is a challenge to understand what she is saying but she is so darn nice. After some bad haircuts at the chain stores, I also took my teenage sons there and, again, Hera did a great job at a great price.

Walked in, no appointment, for a haircut. I saw Hera and she did a very thorough job (layers, used thinning shears, etc). I didn't need a wash and style, so saved big bucks. The cost was only $15. I have paid $40 or more for similar cuts, so I will definitely go back. I took my 7 year old daughter in on another day and a different stylist (Alice) also did a great job. And only $8! On another day, had a pedicure (average), acrylic fill (excellent) and eyebrow waxing (also excellent). Will definitely return

I would not return to this salon especially using a Groupon because she totally ripped me off! I received a Groupon to try her salon for a cut, single process color & style. I had never used a Groupon so I thought you had to pay in cash what the groupon said so I did. The greedy little so & so Marilyn ACCEPTED the money without a WORD!!!! I KNOW she did not think I gave her an $80 tip!! Anyway the next day when I discovered my mistake and I tried to e-mail her @ the salon, she did not respond...no surprise there. So I actually paid $160 for the service and it was OK but not worth $160. She could have made it right by providing another service but Nooooo that's not her style, I guess. Needless to say, enjoy your $80 tip Marilyn...I am sure Karma will take care of you..........
