Hakuna Matata Tanning Salon in Syracuse, NY

My wife Darlene went here to get a tan. She had an awful experience, said that the rooms spelled of piss which made me confused but then she mentioned that while in the room she tried to figure out where the stench was coming from and it was from the trash cans that emitted an odor as potent as it was offensive. The young lady with the short brown hair and nose piercing had a terrible attitude while checking in my wife. I don't really make reviews but I think that in this case, informing others is very important. She also informed me that there was lotion at the top of her bed that looked disgusting and was not clean at all. Not to mention the crevices of the room had filth and was disgusting, not to mention the disgusting bathroom. Here is a tip for management, please clean your beds and bathrooms correctly.

I have been a very loyal customer for years! I always get the year membership. I have spend an extra $3000 on upgrades and lotions every yr the prices go up! Last yr I spen $465...when My membership expired they would not let me renew for the same price. Yes I know that is their decision...BUT I hope they know they lost a good loyal customer and all my extra money I spent! The owner Joe had to nerve to call me after my review! What really pissed me off if the Daughter told me that NO they will not let me get the yr for the $465 I paid last yr she said the prices are going up again the first of the yr so if I want to get it I better get it now! It makes no sense..you don't want to lose maybe $150 now to gain probably $500 over the next yr..I upgrade alot and bought all my lotions from them....I already have a new spot and I paid $300 for the yr!

This is the best tanning salon I've ever been to. It's so clean inside and they have a ton of beds to choose from. The staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful as I am new to this! I will definitely be returning here again, you can tell they are well put together.

Amazing atmosphere. Awesome staff. It was my first time at this tanning facility and I won't be going back to my old one. The beds were also great. I am a fan.

I had to write a review even though I haven't been to this place in a while it's absolutely outstanding. This is the Rolls-Royce of tanning salons. The prices are reasonable it's always clean and the people who work there are really friendly. For everyone who goes tanning you know it's really important for the lights to be strong and or new. This place is awesome. They have so many different kinds of beds and the bulbs are always new and hot. They also carry really good selection of tanning lotions. I wouldn't go anywhere else for tanning. I normally do their lowest level bed and I still get a really good base. Love love love this place, i've never been to a better tanning salon and I've been all over the place from state to state.
