Sakinah does my retie every 6 weeks and she is fast and professional and Aja does my color and she is very knowledgeable and professional I love Hairstory they are amazing I've been a customer for over 4 years

extremely unprofessional and don't return calls or texts. I have decided that this place of business don't know how to handle business. After my experience with trying to see the person who was supposed to do the consultation with me didn't respond nor answer text back, I knew I would be taking my business to someone that can be professional and handle business. Good luck owner I hope the unprofessional people you have working there don't ruin your business. And one thing, as a word of advise change your policy and make a sitting waiting area for potential new client. Sitting and waiting in a car is rude, unnecessary, and unprofessiona. Give over the old Covid rule.

Weird and rude stylist. If you're late 10min she'll make you reschedule even though she is sitting there without a client in her chair because that client is running more than 10min late. Yet she was able to style her once she arrived. I've had to call the salon owner (stylists mother) to get the stylist to respond to my calls and text to confirm my appointment . Otherwise the stylist doesn't respond at all!!! I've gone to 2 appointments and she was late, more than 30minutes. They have some weirdness of the clients waiting in their cars until the stylist shows up. It's not for covid because none of them have mask on inside. This is why black businesses fail. Stupid rules, rude and inconsiderate employees. No type of hospitality and excessive prices. I wish I would wait 30 min past my appointment time in my car in order to pay a rude, weird stylist my hard earned money. Never again! Oh and the chairs are hard as rocks. Take a pillow or chair pad because they could care less.

Sakinah is EVERYTHING! She is professional, kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. She takes her time to make sure she maintains the integrity of your locs and is consistent each time! She is epitomizes what it means to be young, gifted, and BLACK! I am so blessed that she is my loctitcian!

H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E....run fast from this business. Had a consultation Sunday and haven't heard from Loctitian yet. Today is Tuesday. Loctitians aren't professional and don't respond in a timely manner. They're expensive anyways. Guess I'll be taking that drive to L.A. to get my retightening. Update: heard from Loctitian 1 1/2 week later. Continue to run fast.
