On 11/26/22. Managers Michelle is not friendly. Hovers over her team members and belittles then in front of customers. Been going here for years and all sudden my cut cost me $24 more normal. I will not be going back!
My husband came home with one side longer. One side thicker. Bangs so uneven. When I called they said he got a senior discount. I guess that's why they did such a crappy job and it's ok. Then she said he should go where they cut his hair good all the time. Ya well. I would do that but this seems to be a trend. Oh and could hardly understand her since she was chomping on food with her mouth open and while talking. Took pictures. It would be nice if they took pride in their work. Not here.
Went there on my lunch today. Wish I didn't! $30 haircut that looks like a complete pile of shit. Got made fun of at the office when I got back and now paid someone $25 to fix it! I don't understand, the one job you have, not busy at all and manage to leave my hair looking like some blind person cut it? Take your time and do a good job. Quit your job if you don't know how to do it correctly. Easy fade and trim how hard it that? Save your money.
I loved Kris who moved to another salon. However, I went there to do two tings a couple years back. 1 was a cut, the other dye. Well, this young girl who's always pregnant and her hair colored, I figured OK, she'll understand what I need. Well, got pricing and stuck with a cut. I returned and the same gal was on maternity leave. The other young gal bleach blonde hair said she could dye it (bleach it to get all the dark brown off black dyed hair out. It was not done properly. Shoot, you don't ever dye roots first then other hair especially dark to light. And, I didn't go to school for this crap. Seriously! OK, then it was hours of trying to correct the crap she did and the damage. She wanted 200 and a tip. If I were violent, she wouldn't be here. OK. So, another lady had to get it to a lighter orange color and blend the platinum blonde roots she F'ed up. Ya, it was a mess. Then cut the damaged off, so I lost about 4 inches of hair and it was fried. I went home for about a month and just conditioned the poo out of it. I ended up somewhere else to fix it. Fast forward to a haircut. I had long hair tapered... I wanted an inverted bob... long in front short in back with longest length in front just above shoulder. The always pregnant girl was like, "OMG, that s*** will look horrible on you! I won't cut it." I didn't ask for her opinion, as it's irrelevant. So, I went to the next shop, got it cut and guess what, it was awesome Took pic and sent it to hairmasters and the manager at that time called and apologized and said come back for another chance. No thanks. Sad, what went from a great experience, to a crappy one, and followed up with more crap is no longer a place I will stop at, not even for haircare supplies. Took my business for cuts to next strip mall and it's cheaper and the staff are far friendlier.
Apparently I am a glutton for punishment in the form of truly BAD haircuts. I was a successful hairstylist for 20 years, I KNOW a good haircut when I see one. I went back in to Michelle for about 3 times because I had hope that she would someday get a new razor blade, learn to cut evenly on both sides, and leave my crown area a little longer than the rest of my hair. Those things never happened. I tried Jo, oh dear is she one angry person! Very unpleasant to be around, but I gave her a chance, the first whack at my hair I knew I was in trouble but stayed in the chair. Jo left one side of my neckline completely unshaved and a gob of my chopped off hair on my shoulder the size of a golf ball, but at least I could live with the cut eventually. Then I recently tried Lynn. Oh my. I haven't seen a bowl cut for many years, until she got through mutilating my hair. Lynn has a very condescending attitude. I am soooo embarrassed to go out in public. Next time I need my hair cut I will be going to a salon that employs talented hairstylists and happily pay whatever they want, otherwise I will let my cat chew my hair off totally assured it will look better than what I have had at Hair Masters.
