Hair On Earth Salon in Staten Island, NY

As you know not every Hair dresser has the same talents. At Hair Express on Annadale road, I would make an appointment, day and time, for a certain Hair dresser, cause I liked the way she cut my hair. My appointment time would be 9 AM cause I am worried about bringing covid back to my 90 year old mom. Unfortunately, I would arrive on time to find out my hairdresser is not coming in today. So, I would unhappily make a strange hairdresser cut my hair. I stayed with this establishment but decided to change my hairdresser, which I hoped would always be in on the day of appointment. We'll, to my surprise this hairdresser would double book. I would arrive to see her opening shop and talking to an older man. When i approached I was told, NOT ASKED, this gentle is going before you. So, I decided not to get my hair cut and left. Now, I will try Hair on Earth, which is an establishment of Hair Express. I made a 9:30 appointment with someone with the name Rose in it. I called the day before for a confirmation and was told Marilyn wil be cutting my hair. So I went anyway and while sitting in the chair, I was asked if I had come there before and where I lived. So I mentioned to her I changed hair salons cause of the isses stated above. She reintroduced herself as the owner of both establishments and wanted to know what the problem was. Finding this very uncomfortable and odd, since she was assigned to me replacing "Rose" hairdresser, I proceeded to tell her the problems. She sided with the hairdresses from hair express on annadale road. She said they dont have to call you if there are changes in your appointment unless I was a steady customer, which she defined as once a week client. My appoinments can be monthly or bi-monthly. The conversation became argumentive and I believe this was arranged so she would have the opportunity to be argumentive. If you want to be treated with respect and courtesy, this is not the hairdresser to go too. Sent from AOL on Android
