This salon is definitely the place to be to get hair care products that will keep your hair healthy, a wonderful and experienced Woman that is knowledgeable about hair care and truly skilled at her gift. The salon setting is very peaceful and clean! No riff raff. Quiet with great music. Treated in the most professional way. Hair Fortè is the way for healthy hair and a upscale salon.

I love love love Nyisher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She has been doing my hair since 2012 and I could not be any happier! As much as I love the way my hair looks when she's done, I just truly appreciate having a stylist who is ethical, kind, knowledgeable and professional. I have had my share of scares and so I am very skeptical about who I let touch my tresses! Nyisher, don't ever change because you are an awesome stylist and a rare gem of a business-woman!

I moved from Chicago to Alsip and could not find a hair stylist until I found Hair Forte through a Google search. The best search performed. Topeka is my hair stylist and I LOVE her work she's awesome. My hair looks and feels great ever since she has been styling it for me. You walk in and its very welcoming and the people are very nice. I would recommend Hair Forte hundred times over to anyone!

Firstly, the shop was very clean and modern which gave me hope in the beginning. I was never greeted by the staff but just told to have a seat while I wait for my stylist. There was only a 15 minute wait for the stylist but I was never asked whether I had an appointment or the nature of my visit. My hair was promptly washed and then I was told to have a seat. I sat with wet hair for 2 full hours before my stylist(Nikki) showed me to her booth! Backtracking a bit, my hair is natural and I had a coupon for a wash and set that came in the mail. Before arriving I called to inquire about the coupon and what additional cost it would be to have my ends clipped. I was told $12 over the phone....that quickly turned to $25 once I was in the chiair! Apparently having a "regular" and "extensive" cutting of my ends is determined by the stylist and the price quoted over the phone would only cover the bare minimum of the two. I was not prepared to pay the additional $25 and chose to stick with the regular version. I initially thought the purpose of offering a coupon was to intice potential new customers to become regular clients? There was no conversation about future visits or outline of long term care for my hair, no email requested for follow ups, and no engagement from my stylist(Nikki). You can pay a lot of money in designing a beautiful shop but if your customer service, marketing, and retention skills are lacking its a wasted effort. By the way, my ends still don't look as if they were ever cut!

I was very pleased with my hair. Tapeka did a great job and I will be returning soon. I visited for the first time on July 1st 2015. Thank you Tapeka for your patients and your time.
