Tara is absolutely the best . I have never really liked my hair I've got an extensions now and she has created a monster . She is so professional the place is absolutely wonderful. She's done a wonderful job decorating . She's always listens to what I want exactly done . She is completely Fair . I am 100% understanding of the cancellation fee . She was so sweet and gave me one free pass . But I am fully understanding that next time if I do cancel before the 24 hours that I would be charged half price which most companies do . But the fact that she gave me one free pass just means so much to me. She is completely professional I strongly recommend if you're not satisfied with your hair to go in and see Tara she is absolutely amazing

NEVER!!!! RUN! Here's my accurate story-I have a witness too That was with me my entire time at this place! I booked a partial highlight and touch up ONLY and made it clear twice! So here's my painful experience with the owner Terra. First, She canceled my initial appointment and rescheduled me the next day and I said that's ok. I show up on time and then she let me sit at the front for 20 minutes as she finished up a little boys haircut. I didn't say a word, yet she didn't even apologize or introduce herself so much as ok here is my chair. I showed her a picture of my hair that had partial platinum highlights from a few months back and said that's what I was wanting again and that I really didn't need a color touch up but would do it to add dimension. as bleach sat on my head for literally an hour I called out for her as it was burning very bad. she was busy with an interview to hire a new nail tech she said. she let me sit there burning and She would not allow me to ask questions and when my scalp and face were burning I asked her to please wipe off the bleach. She kept saying I'll get it it afterwards. So I was forced to wipe off the bleach she got all over my forhead and temples and side cheeks myself---then she got mad because I flipped the cape inside out on a corner as I had nothing to wipe it off with and she decided to clean her cape instead. I was shocked! i not only have blisters on my entire forehead, but the nightmare doesn't end here!! she treated me so so bad infront of my 12 year old daughter as she pushed me to get a trim when I had already intensely told her I lost 80% of my hair with Covid and did not want a hair cut as I tried so hard to grow out my hair from it falling out and thinning out. I said although it looked bad at the ends I was good with it not being cut. soooo she insisted on a tiny trim so I asked her to trim literally a centimeter and she showed me with her fingers measuring that she promised me that's all. she has me turned around from the mirror and I was honestly closing my eyes from the bless still burning my eye so I didn't see her cut so much off! when I opened my eyes I was so sad to see my hair short! She cut off an entire foot of my hair as I have before and after pictures!! she blowed dried my hair partially and then I caught her using thinning shears too! I cannot believe my eyes as I said atleast 5 times no more than what we both measured and that's it please!!are those thinning shears please no I said no razors, no cut past what we discussed! she had the audacity to tell me she likes to just do what she thinks is best and not be questioned or have to explain the process. I got up and replied, And I as a first time customer need to feel comfor table by being able to ask questions and tell you what I do and do not why and now I'm out of here. I went to pay the $140 and she tried charging me $250! double! for butchering my hair off and literally blistering my entire forhead as she chose to neglect me in the chair and do a job interview! I said abs not are you over charging me! I'm paying what I booked and no more. I laid down $150 on the counter and said I will never step foot in your salon again and I have never been treated so bad in my entire life. I immediately text my friends showing them my blisters on my forehead and temples and the incident. HERES THE REALLY INSANE PART.... an hour later I get a phone call from the sheriff saying she called the police on me for theft for the remaining $100 that she wanted to over charge me for. the police confirmed I paid correctly and still tipped her a list $10 that she didn't deserve honestly. I begged the officer to also review her cameras showing where I kept behind her to wipe off the bleach on my burning. face and asked her in the back to please rinse the bleach out of my scalp as it was burning and frying my hair. if these blistered areas get worse and scar I'll be very upset. my daughter was terrified for me as she witnessed the entire 2 hours of hell! Her anger and deliberate behavior was out of control and I can see exactly why she was complaining to me that everyone canceled on her and that she was hiring other employees! It's her not anyone else. She's a BIG BIG problem

I love what Tera has been able to do with my hair! She always knows what will look best & how to achieve it. The environment throughout the salon is great, as well. It feels clean, I am always offered a selection of drinks during my appointments & there is beautiful artwork throughout the space. I would highly recommend Hair Etc to anyone looking for a wonderful salon experience!

I just tried a new hair dresser...Tera Pagador. She was a nightmare!!!!! She would not listen to me on ANYTHING I wanted. Worst "beautician" EVER!! I showed her 5-6 pics, so she'd have a good idea of what I wanted, as my hair had not been done in 8 months. I had even tried cutting it at one point, and it was a mess. Way to long to work with. I talked to her a LONG time, being VERY specific on what I wanted. She was arguing with me that my look was out of style (which was clearly not so, as ppl always compliment me on my hair). The looks she gave me (subtle rolling of her eyes), expressed that it was not what SHE though I should do, and she even subtly insulted me a few times. I should have walked out before she even touched my hair... but I was so desperate to get my hair done that I have her a chance. WRONG CHOICE. She didn't color my hair my normal blonde color - because she thought she knew better what would look better. It looks gray now!!!!! Paid for full highlights all through hair, like I've always gotten... she left the whole back underside untouched and dark! Worse yet, she chopped all my hair off - WAY TOO SHORT!!! Can't do anything with it, and I look PATHETIC now...very unclassy and drab!! Iwanted my normal layers... shorter at top, longer at bottom, layering down around my face. She did the opposite!!! Longer on top, and super short at bottom! She even cut it uneven in the back, as very evident by looking at it from the front, as sides were not even. I told her it was uneven - she denied it and made excuses like " You have a cowlick. (I don't). Aside from one side is an inch shorter than the other, it's about 3"shorter than I wanted it! I showed pics and physical location of length I wanted, but she cut it all off... hair in back is only 1" long!!!!! (I normally have it cut shoulder length). ‼‼ WHAT KIND OF HAIR DRESSER DOES THAT??? She was pompous, basically telling me my face was "pretty round" and needed what SHE said. Basically calling me fat. Told me my look was outdated, and was just insulting. (Well, this haircut really makes me look heavy now!!) HOW DARE SHE!!!!!!! Since when does a hair dresser just do whatever she wants - as opposed to listening to what the client wants (especially one who was very clear on what was wanted)......and for $200???? ‼ It's so bad, that those who have seen it are in shock, agreeing with the awful Butch job, and have made comments like, "Omg...that doesn't even look like you" or "Ohhhhh, wowwwww" or "Is not flattering"....or best yet, "It could be worse....you could have cancer and have no hair". And, no....they were not being facetious; rather, empathetic, as they saw how bad it is. Anyway, I sat in the chair wiping tears, as Iwas so angry and frustrated with her. After putting my glasses back on so I could really see it, and gasped, excluding "Omg... it's so short!!!" I couldn't believe the damage she had done. I confronted her on putting no blonde in the back....for all that money, and how I had no hair left at all. She didn't care at all about my concerns or how horrible I felt it was, because it's what SHE thought I needed. She ignored everything I had to say, and told me I was just gonna have to get used to it. ‼‼ OMG!! Are you kidding me?? I've never been so infuriated at a salon in my life...so insulted, so disrespected!! ...and she is the owner!! I spent the next day, my birthday, in bed - and in tears because I was so upset. My hair doesn't grow fast and it's gonna take 7 to 8 months for it even have any kind of noticeable growth. In the meantime, I am stuck with the most embarrassing haircut of my life, and looking gray. Turning 60 was bad enough - but to now look older because of how she ruined my hair in every way.... yeah... not hair!!!! Tera has no right to be in this career!!! She needs to listen to her clients and what THEY want, unless they tell her to do whatever she wants. Horrible customer service, as she is pompous and doesn't serve the customer in what he/she wants at all. She kept saying she couldn't do certain things (like blonde underneath) because it wouldn't work...why can other hair dresses do those things then?? She brags about how long she's been doing hair, but I'm sorry...I was totally unimpressed!!! She goes down as the WORST hair dresser I've ever had....and I've had some bad ones!! At least the others listened to me in what I wanted and tried to do it...or tried to make things right. There's nothing that can even be fixed here. It's ruined. So, if anyone ever even thinks about going to #HairEtc or seeing #TeraPagador..... DON'T!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!

I had a friend see Tera Pagador. My friend was gifted money to get her hair highlighted and styled. Her color and highlights were grown out. She loves her curls that framed her beautiful face. Tera did not listen to one word that my friend asked, Tera proceeded to cut off all her hair, without listening to my friend, so short it is straight and sticks to her face, a drastic change from what was requested. Her photo tells all, which I will not post, all you see is bangs, nothing else, no curls, no highlights. Tera went on and on about how this cut doesn't age her, it flatters her face and insult after insult supporting Tera's style decisions. Since when does a stylist know better than her client and butcher the cut? I would not recommend Tera. She doesn't listen to her clients. I'm sorry my friend even paid her for the time she sat in this chair, if I was with her, I would have insisted Tera was not paid. My friend was crying while Tera ignored her requests. Shame on you Tera! Tera, listen to your clients. They do not usually ask you to do whatever you want, what you think may look good with their face shape, nobody cares what you think Tera. My friend doesn't even have enough hair to fix at another salon. You should offer a refund so when her hair grows back to its original length next year, she can pay someone to do what she asked.
