After a bad experience with another stylist, Robin called me and had me come in to see what she could do. I'm glad I went. I was scared and pretty hopeless, but Robin was patient, let me vent about my prior visit, and then got right to work using her knowledge and experience. My hair is in a much better place now and I'm schedule to go back next week to continue the process. There is hope in salvaging my hair after all. Will post updated photos of the progress tomorrow.
Hair cut was good and stylist was nice, but I paid her for the cut + tip in cash and tried to pay for a deep conditioner with my card. The stylist said it would only charge the $23 for product but when I looked at my bank statement I got charged for the cut AND the product which I had already paid for in cash. I asked her specifically if it would only charge for the product and she said yes....Stylist got away with a $30 tip on a $24 service..... for that reason I won't go back.
Best haircuttery I've been to yet! Talented stylists, very accommodating and friendly! Not to mention they have great prices too! They are also conveniently located right next to Trader Joe's ...which is even better for me :-)
About a month ago, I came in for the first time and the man who cut my hair was SUPER CREEPY. He inappropriately told me that I have a good body. He continued with more suggestive remarks and I just had to pretend like everything was fine. LITERALLY NEVER COMING BACK. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.
So disappointed, but I guess you get what you pay for. I used to get my hair cut here all the time; same style, same old cut, easy peasy--in & out. Today I amble in after recovering from a 2 week long virus/cold/flu, grateful that it's going to be short & sweet...only to be informed by the lone stylist--in what looked like an empty shop--that it will be an hour and a half wait! 1.5 hours "because they are short staffed & doing coloring." Come on. Whomever owns this place really dropped the ball. Clearly he/she doesn't give a ..hoot about customers. I will stay & get my haircut. I will never return. And, unless you have an hour or so to kill, you might want to rethink coming here too.
