I had to go twice and didn't really get what I asked for. I get that I have a lot of hair and it's a time investment. I wanted half of my hair to have a bright color and it's more like 1/6. I showed example photos and it wasn't even close to how I wanted the color to be underneath but show. I was disappointed that I spent near 300 for it. I wasn't told anything beforehand to prepare for bleach on my hair so when the day came my hair had other products in it that I normally use like leave in conditioner that made it heat up too fast I guess? Theresa said my hair was at risk of falling out so the bleach was washed out b4 it should have been. My hair feels very tangled and damaged and hard to comb after all of this. It ended up like combing barbie hair. Felt like plastic. No products were suggested afterwards I just used products I found on my own for color treated hair. That still didn't help because it was beyond damaged. I was told by a friend that they should have done a test to see how my hair reacted to bleach beforehand. Nope it wasn't done. I ended up cutting off all of my hair to my chin essentially and I'm still growing it out over a year later. Luckily my hair grows fast but I would not use them to dye hair, the haircut was not very interesting either compared to what I asked for

I went to the salon in desperate need of a major color correction and had a consultation with Theresa. Little did I know that this would be the best experience I've ever had in my life. Her professionalism, expertise, knowledge of color pales in comparison to anyone I've ever gone to. Corrective color is truly an art and with that comes extensive training and a proven track record. When you find someone that exceeds your expectations you will be a lifelong client. I walked out of there so pleased and grateful that I have found her! My color is absolutely so beautiful!!! Theresa is very unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment last week Thursday. I was unable to make it so I rescheduled for this week, Friday. I drove 30 minutes and she says " that was yesterday" when I inquired about our scheduled appointment. I responded " I put it down in my calendar for today". All she said was "that was yesterday", no rescheduling option or anything. Just nasty. While I know my appointment was definitely correct in my phone, her reaction just made me not want to work with her. I don't recommend someone who doesn't understand basic customer service. Don't waste your time.

Been going here for years. It's consistent. Their staff is great. The products are amazing. My hair has never been healthier. Niecey was my go-to person before they left the salon. Theresa is now treating my hair and is lovely to work with. Very easy going and professional. Highly recommend this business to anyone looking to revamp or repair their damaged hair.

My experience at this salon today has been my worst ever! I rescheduled my Saturday appointment with Theresa (owner) to Tuesday afternoon due to the icy storm we experienced in the DC Metro over the weekend. I arrived at 4:30p, right on time. When I walked in, I was friendly as always. I waved and said hello to Theresa who was applying color to a customer. She just looked at me seeming confused. I sat in the waiting chair patiently. In comes another customer who sits down waiting for the other stylist. I noticed that Theresa walks pass me and gives her a smile and greeting to that customer and says "How are you doing?". I thought that was odd. I continue to sit and wait patiently. She called her assistant to the back room and talks to her. Her assistant comes out and says "Hello, what's your name? I don't have you scheduled." I told her that I called the salon the week prior to schedule for Tuesday. She said she didn't have an appt and doesn't know what happen. I am not a new customer!! I then asked to return a shampoo that I purchased for $35 that made my hair hard. The assistant tried to refund my credit card but was unsuccessful. She then goes to Theresa for help with the register. Theresa told her to tell me that I can get credit for my next appt. No way, you guys can't even keep up with your appts and customers. Finally, Theresa leaves that salon to go get cash for my refund. She comes back and hands cash to her assistant and walks over to the customer sitting in her chair and says "Sorry, thank you for waiting." After a full 40 minutes of wasted time, I leave the salon with my product refund but hair not done AND no customer service or apology from the owner Theresa. This is unacceptable. You didn't even acknowledge that someone messed up your scheduling. You didn't even speak to me or acknowledge me. Now I understand why you have lost a lot of clients. Treat people how you want to be treated!!
