Ok, where do i start? All i wanted was a blow-dry... I called before i went in and asked about the prices. I told the girl exactly how long my hair was and that it was curly and she quoted me $26. She asked me how curly my hair was over the phone, that should have been my 1st warning. -My hair is not that curly, however, it shouldn't matter b/c someone who knows what they are doing shouldn't be intimidated by a curl. Long story short, she ended up blow drying my hair into a frizzy nest, then proceeded to use the iron to smooth out my whole head. it wasn't a blow dry, it was a flat iron job, which looked horrible. She totally damaged my hair, and then had the nerve to tell me it looked great. when i went to pay she charged me $41!!! What??!! she told me b/c it took more time and work with the flat iron. I have never!! I would normally pay around $25. A flat iron is a finishing tool and shouldn't be used to substitute a good blow dry. She just didn't know what she was doing. She was young, and stupid. I just paid, b/c i just wanted to get the hell out of there b/c i was so pissed off.. Bottom line, save your money. This place is a low class salon, that does not know how to serve their customers. I'm not cheap, I get my hair cut in the city. To charge this kind of money for a service that wasn't up to par is disgusting and poor customer service.
