Hair by Kellye in La Quinta, CA

I had a hair stylist I loved, but over the course of several years, my color had drifted from what I like and we were having a hard time getting on the same page. It was time for a change, so I did my research on good old Yelp, and in so doing I found Kellye. Her Yelp info and her website were impressive, but I still felt like I needed input from one of my BFFs who is a stylist (but not local). The feedback I got from my BFF was great, and I gave Kellye a try by first booking a Brazilian Blowout. I am so glad I did! I arrived at her very stylish studio salon and was immediately impressed by how warm Kellye is and what a great memory she has - she recalled everything we discussed when I'd booked the appointment. The blowout was outstanding, so I made an appointment for a full color about 10 days later (I was lucky to get in so quickly - she had a cancellation!). I have a lot of hair and Kellye did not cut any corners with my full highlight and I left feeling like the blonde I think I am meant to be!! I enjoyed getting to know Kellye during my two appointments and I think this is going to be a great fit for me long-term. She knows so much about a lot of things, but what was important to me was her knowledge on color. I can't wait for my next appointment.

I really liked how well Kellye listened to my numerous, undecided wants patiently, and ended up giving me just what I wanted! Her low lights she did were beautiful. I will be returning for more treatments for sure! Her location is LaQuinta and her shop is clean.

Having red hair is a big challenge when you have to find a new hairdresser who knows red hair! Today was my first time to meet Kellye and have her color my hair. I was absolutely impressed with Kelley's knowledge and professionalism. She is a true artist!!! I am very picky and I having red hair is not easy to match with the right red. Kelley did an excellent job and I'm ecstatic about how beautiful my hair turned out. So perfect!
