Honestly, not sure what the reviews down below are talking about. I give this salon and owner Alexis Nicole a 5 plus star review for being the BEST stylist in the Kalamazoo area. I came from Vegas and used the best sylist out there. I called in advance and double-checked the pricing. What she charged me was actually a bit less than I was quoted, so of course, that was cool. I think if you're used to having your friends dye your hair or used to doing it yourself, than you may think it costs a lot. But if you know and understand what it takes and costs for this woman to do her craft, than it's well worth it, imho. You aren't getting a great haircut and color for $100 anymore, that's 20 years old pricing. I made sure to book another appointment as her schedule fills up fast. If you're looking for a well established stylist that will make you feel amazing and not rush you through the process, than look no further. She also is very honest about what she can and shouldn't do. But again, not everyone wants to hear that. It may take me a few sessions to get to the level of blonde I want, but thats ok, she is a professional.

She had looked at my hair already I just find this to be unethical Be upfront about price before you start services

She is a great experienced artist but the way she treated me today is terrible. I had scheduled an appointment with my daughter who is here from out of state. First she wanted to charge $50 for a child haircut (yes she has long hair but we just wanted a trim) we agreed I would wash her hair and she would instead charge $25. My ex husband decided he was coming from another state and he would take her to her appointment. His phone did not flip from central time to eastern time for some reason and thought he still had time to get her there. I apologized and explained the accident. I simply stated I wish she would have texted me sooner as my ex husband was in the area waiting for the appointment and this is where she got rude and told me to find another stylist. It was all completely out of my control.
