Avoid This Hair Salon! My anticipation for my hair appointment quickly turned into nightmare! I had scheduled highlights with KEYA, a supposed "Master Director." Unfortunately, I ended up waiting for 25 minutes before she arrived. During that time, we discussed opting for partial highlights. However, I had to wait an additional 10 minutes because she had two other customers and seemed to be taking her time. Finally, she started working on my hair, but things took a turn for the worse when I asked her about the total cost of my services.

To my surprise, she quoted me $100, which initially seemed reasonable. However, as she proceeded with the foils, she casually mentioned that an additional toner would cost $60. I was still willing to accommodate that within my budget. However, just 10 minutes later, she suddenly informed me that a blow-dry would cost an extra $60. I was taken aback and felt the need to clarify the situation. It was frustrating to discover that the partial highlights would now cost me a total of $220. I really wish she had disclosed this information earlier.

Instead of addressing my concerns calmly, she became visibly angry. She went on to compare my previous services, threw her pen down, and condescendingly offered to call the manager. I was shocked by her unprofessional reaction and didn't know how to respond. Merely asking about the price should not have resulted in such an attitude.

The manager eventually arrived and attempted to understand my perspective, but I was already so upset that I decided to have my hair washed and leave. Another employee, who was genuinely kind, took care of washing my hair. Despite being instructed not to blow-dry it, she went above and beyond and gave it a quick blow-dry for two minutes. As a result, I left the salon with wet and dripping hair. It was an incredibly humiliating and mistreatment experience.

What saddened me the most was that this incident occurred in a hair salon--a place where women go to relax, have a good time, and boost their confidence. KEYA needs to be held accountable for her lack of personal skills and her rude treatment of customers. The salon management should seriously consider terminating her employment.

DO NOT GO HERE! This location is next to Primrose Daycare. Three times a year the staff do a parade for the children for their parents and family to enjoy. There is a shared parking lot, so understandably, in order to accommodate the families to enjoy watching their children march in a parade that takes 30 minutes for all of the children to get through, family has to utilize space in the shared parking lot. The owner of the salon came out of the salon and began yelling at the families who were parking in the VERY LARGE parking lot. He stated his clients could not find parking. I will assure you, I counted up to 20 empty spaces, then quit counting. The owner made several family members extremely uncomfortable. He then proceeded to park his own vehicle (I presume it was his) to blockade anyone from entering the parking lot which only precipitated the problem worse. Family members of the children could not enter/exit the parking lot, nor could his own clients. To say the least, we were all confounded as it made zero sense to do that. He completely embarrassed himself, his staff, and his business. It is my hope that after some much needed retrospection that he concludes that his actions were completely unnecessary. In an environment where parents need to SUPPORT and be PRESENT for their children more and more due to the state of society and recent happenings, he completely had ZERO regard. I do not doubt that they have a wonderful salon, but if you are a PARENT in need of a haircut, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS GENTLEMANS BUSINESS as he clearly has no empathy for parents supporting their children for 30 minutes. It takes a community, including small business support, to create a safe environment for children of which this salon owner had zero affection for. 50+ family members witnessed his actions and were all equally appalled and jarred by this gentleman's actions. I did not get the impression that he has children of his own. If he did, I presume this would not have been a problem as it only took 30 minutes for the parade to conclude.

I came to this salon after the one on Frazier Ave was booked for the day. I honestly regret coming to this location as my hairstylist (STAR) was generally friendly; however, she didn't follow me on how I wanted my hair done. I had asked for layers from the start and ended up getting it texturized and leaving everything even. After Star was supposedly finished, I told her about my hair being longer on one side and she fixed that. However she didn't give me the chance to further let her know what could be fixed before she immediately said "alright let me walk you out." This just told me that she didn't want to give me the best experience or haircut because there were still no layers to be seen. All she did was shorten my hair.I thought there was more to be done, but she just rushed me out without giving me an opportunity to correct her. Despite the money I spent at this location, I will have to spend even more money to get results I'm looking for. I honestly want a refund, and would have asked them and there but I'm not the confrontational type. No I don't plan on coming back to this location, nor do I recommend for any male to get their haircut by this woman.

Someone recommended this place and said it was the best in town and they were modern and not old fashioned.  So I called the place and asked for the best stylist and they assign me amy. So I get there and waited for like 5 minutes so not much waiting.  Amy comes to get me and I don't want to sound mean but when you go to a beauty salon you kinda look around to see how the stylist look and you'll know if they are keeping up with modern hair styles and stuff like that. So Almost everyone looked modern. So when Emy came to get me and before I knew it was her, I saw her and thought I hope it's not her! She had her hair up just holding it with a hair Clip and her grays were so long. She was wearing sandals and look like she just woke up wearing like sweatpants. Not a good look for someone in that industry. So I thought to my self, maybe she is good so I ask for a hair cut and she looked like she knew what she was doing. I just started to get comfortable when her assistant come and asked if she needs help with the drying so I thought that he was talking about someone else because she just started the hair cut. so it could not be me and it was literally like less then 5 minutes. But sure enough it was me. So i asked if she was done and she looked at me like if why I was asking. She just cut my hair across and she was done. Then she style it so old fashioned that I had to ask her if I could use the flat iron to fix it. The funny thing is that when I schedule the appointment I asked the girl in the front to book me with a specialist like they have in their website, and yes is more money. So I left, gave her a nice tip, because yes call me an idiot, I am nice.  I went to someone else the next day that did an amazing job and took her time.  I hate living a negative review because I know people are struggling everywhere but it's not fair that people go for a haircut to look better and feel better, and their haircuts are not cheap, and it sucks that there are some people that don't have pride in their work.  Not everyone can afford to throw money away and it's hard times.  Just saying.
