UNPROFESSIONAL, HORRIBLE, and COMPLETE WAIST OF TIME!!!! I would rate lower if I could! I've been planning on cutting my hair for a very long time. When searching for the perfect stylist to do it a co-worker of mine suggested Hair Paradise and specifically told me 2 ask for Joy the ower of the shop. I made my appointment for 11:00a. When I showed up on time ( I might add) there was only one stylist there. She explained 2 me she didn't know where Joy was. She tried to get a hold of her. After about 15mins she finally called back and ask if I could come back @ 3:30p. Now mind u I'm driving bout 45min out of the way from where I live. I was trying to be understanding, so I told her it would be fine, after all she suppose 2b good right? I left and showed back up @ 3:30p, again on time, and now the shop is closed, lights are off, and the door is locked (NO ONE IS INSIDE!!!!)But how could that be? The sign on the door says open til 5:30p and Joy, who is the owner of this establishment, is the one who told me to be back specifically @ 3:30p. I waited and waited and waited some more. Finally she shows up after 4:00p. My hair cut was ok but it wasn't even the style I wanted. $90.00 I paid for it. I've spoken with other ppl about my experience and they all say the same thing, after all of that 'I should of gotten my hair cut for free'. For a business I thought it was completely UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE!!!! Maybe b/c I wasn't 1 of their regulars they felt as tho I'm not as important. But for a business who's trying to build clientele it was completely INCONSIDERATE!!!! I felt like a complete idiot for even paying for it and i tipped her (ARRRRGGG. WHY WOULD I DO THAT) Trying to be nice i guess. But the more i think about my experience the more aggravated i get. This was my 1st hair cut experience and it was HORRIBLE!!!! I'M NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN!!!! I would recommend anyone who's not a regular client of theirs to do the same! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I'm currently looking for a new stylist now.
