H & M Nails & Spa in Southfield, MI

I had gotten my nails done October 9th or 10th of 2023 by one of the older male staff members. I had gotten an acrylic fill-in, a week later one my nails just broke off, not my nail but the acrylic. I had to go pay for and get it fixed, I was irritated about it but i'm like it happens to the best of us. Not even 3 days later another nail breaks. I go and get it fixed because mind you it's only been ONE WEEK and I am not about to walk around with a broken nail, and they aren't ready to come off. After the second time getting it fixed I tell them "I don't think I should have to pay for this nail fix because this is my second time in basically a week that I am coming back to you all to get my broken nail fixed." One of the younger male staff who fixed my nail looked at the other workers, acting like he was understanding where I was coming from, and they said something in a different language; then the older man who did the fill-in says "they are old" as if he didn't sit there and put a new set of acrylic on my "old" acrylic fill-in. If he knew they were too old then he should have told me I needed a new set. I have went to him about 2 times before this and had no major issues. I don't feel like I was looked out for after a mistake on their end or that my business was appreciated, so you will never catch me in there again and no one else with sense and self respect should not either. They also don't do regular polish either... but have it in the salon makes no sense. They will do anything to make you spend extra money.

Treated niece to a $70 manicure full set. She showed a picture of what she wanted and he gave her something different, then told her he was not going to change it. Additionally her pinkie was bleeding. Then he whacked her hand whenever he needed her to move instead of asking her to move. I was so disappointed. Not to mention she really had a painful manicure. I never posted anything on yelp but I felt compelled to write this response.

My experience at this nail salon was disappointing at best. My manicurist did not soak my hands during the process, nor did he give my cuticles any attention. Additionally, he did not put lotion on my hands and, when I mentioned there was a chip in the polish, he responded that it was because the nail was jagged - something he could have easily addressed by filing the nail. When I showed my manicure to another customer who was waiting to be seen, he actually raised his voice at me. I have vowed never to return.

Went for a pedicure and service was not great. I could have done a better job at home. I regularly maintain my feet at home but usually every few months I'll go get a professional pedicure. My feet look like I've continued to maintain them myself. In addition my polish bubbled up and was not fixed. Won't be going back, they are cash only which I also find a little strange

Omg, this is the worst experience ever. I came here to get a quick polish change on my toes, I had regular polish that I just put on the night before, I clipped and filed my toe nails down. I literally just wanted the polish changed! This lady takes off my polish, tries to clip my nails, clips my skin ! You can clearly see I don't need a cut down wtf... so I'm like can you just use a file... Files my skin, so I'm like can you please just file what needs to be filed, she skips to my pinky toes.. then starts to polish. Like you just wasted all that time trying to do all the steps and it's not necessary, so after she realized she didn't really have to do anything she's asking me about my nails, like no girl. Leave me alone. Then I also had to tell her to stop pulling my leg, like I can put it down my self, wtf... I'm trying to put my foot to where it's comfortable and she's constantly pinching my ankle, WTF! Not to mention she drilled my toe nails when I had regular polish on, and I wonder why my shit be breaking every 2-3 business days, use a fucking buffer. Worse shit, and it's my birthday. Like wtf.
