Great Cuts - Family Hair Salon in Buford, GA

I've been using Great Cuts, this location and the previous one in Dacula, for 12 years and it's the only place I go. All the stylist are great, so I don't have to wait, for a particular person. 12+ years without a single bad cut. I'll go here forever and I highly recommend.

Really terrific and friendly service and Jenny did a great job cutting my son's hair. She gave us a first time customer discount as well. Will definitely be back. :)

Awesome place for men in a rush who want scalped or old lady hair . I tried giving this place multiple tries bc my husband and son go here but it's not good for women's hair. Great place for men who want to cut their hair nearly to the scalp otherwise not so good. Absolutely do not get hair color here unless u just want a look from Walmart box . I could do myself at home but the price tag of going to a place with real talent. I had to go back several times and of course pay again because They didn't do what I asked the first time which I found to be really aggravating, I now have an appointment downtown at Steve Hightower with Joshua who has real talent. Even with my daughters hair I told the lady how to do it and what they need to do ,they arguing with me about it like they didn't want to do it bc she was unsure ,when they finally did what I asked after I took her back a second time it looked better but the first time it looked terrible and honestly it's still crooked . You know I don't want argue about the hair when I go somewhere and I won't be coming back. I told my husband how they talked and was looking at me especially the guy there and I don't think my husband or son will be back either. Very rude which is rare in Asian community. I will say the lady did try but she was really unsure of herself .. not enough experience in female hair styles.

I was in a hurry so decided to give this place a try as normally I go to the beauty college in Buford. Well this was the worse haircut I have ever had! I explained myself to death what haircut I wanted (the lady acted as if she was going to do the cut she wanted no matter what I said). I explained several times the terms the students at the beauty college use to cut my hair and even described in great detail. No matter how much I explained this lady did the exact opposite and said "we have different names for cuts". I was so frustrated! This lady kept cutting my hair shorter and shorter after telling her I did not want my hair that short, so had to stop her several times eventually giving up and ending the cut. Once I was done the signs out front said 1st time cut men's $8.99 women's $11.99 and arguing this point the lady charged me $15.00 for a woman's cut. I was so frustrated over the whole experience!! Last week, 2 weeks after this bad experience I went back to the beauty college and they fixed this horrendous cut. Due to this lady at Great Cuts my cut was uneven all over, cut short in some spots. If I could dream up a nightmare haircut this would be it. I was the only woman cut while I was there, seems like they are good cutting men's hair by reading reviews, but based on my experience I would advise staying away from a woman's cut. If I thought they would do right and fix the cut I would have gone back, honestly I would like my $15.00 back. I'm just very thankful for the students and instructors at the beauty college who were able to fix this bad cut.

Michael literally took his time even though it was kind of busy and gave me the best hair cut I've ever had. This place has nothing but professionals, no matter who you get they will make sure you are happy when your leaving. Great prices! Keep up the GREAT work guys! Best salon in Gwinnett!
