I had the very best hair cut by James. I recieved complimentes where ever I go. Few of my friends had a cut by him and also very pleased.
Where do I even begin? I decided to cut my hair, had images picked out, and the stylist started to lecture me! Told me that if I went short, I'd have to style it due to my fine hair. Um.... I've had short hair longer than she's been alive. So, I show her what I want. Short in the back, longer in the front, like an inverted or asymmetrical bob. She got the asymmetrical part right but the front ended up being shorter. By a lot. Plus she missed chunks that I had to trim myself when I got home. I used to love Great Clips but since it's franchised you can't expect the same quality from location to location.
I went to Great Clips at Beau Rivage (Wilmington, NC) on Saturday, September 14th, 2019. I simply asked for long, flowy layers to be put in my LONG hair. I did NOT want a V cut and I wanted to keep the length. (The length of my hair when I went in was in between my bra strap and my butt) Anyone that knows anything about hair KNOWS that someone with curls, typically get their hair cut while it is damp/wet. She did not do that either. Then, as she is cutting my hair, I mentioned that again I want to keep my length. She said "I am". Meanwhile, I am looking on the floor around me and see my pretty long hair down there. If long, flowy layers means cutting off 6" then maybe I didn't know what I was asking for. It took me 4 years to grow my hair out and this made me livid! I advised her that I was NOT happy about how she did my hair. She didn't care.
She just wanted my $15. Clearly, this hairstylist Daisy Bryant has NO business doing ANYBODY's hair!!! She doesn't even deserve a 1 star!!! They have definitely lost my business. My family will not go back. It may be affordable but I would rather spend more money to actually like what was done to it.
