Great Clips in Tumwater, WA

If I coukd give zero stars I would I went in for a trim and she BUTCHERED MY HAIR! cutting off all my blonde curls that I just spent 200 dollars getting a perm and color I can't even leave the house now it's so bad. I called corporate and they did nothing. It's so short it cannot t be fixed.and no one even cares I wish I coukd add pictures so everyone coukd see how awful it looks now. I just want to die

I've taken my family to this Great Clips for at least 10 years. Unfortunately, today, I witnessed an event that will keep us from going back. A gentleman came in with two small children for haircuts. They were a well behaved boy and girl. All was fine until one hairdresser noticed that the two year old little girl had taken her mask off. This lady felt the need to insist that this two year old child wear a mask. The father did his best but try as he might the girl kept taking the mask off. The hair dresser couldn't let it go and demanded that she keep the mask on or they would need to leave. When asked about the company policy for children she said it was her own rule. This lady was the only one who had an issue. Truly unprofessional and appalling behavior from this staff member. He ended up leaving. Great clips lost our business today and hopefully more when people read this. It appears, from other reviews, this is ongoing from these quacks. Lots of candied responses from the "owner" passing the ball onto the franchise instead of addressing the issue.

I asked for length to be taken off, the sides to be framed around my face and the top to be texturized to give me some lift. She cut 2 inches and trimmed the rest. She had no idea what I was talking about "textrizing the top to give me lift". They must not have taught you to sue texturizing shears in school like they did us in Califormia. She never cut my bangs. I had to go to another salon to get the hair cut I asked for who completely understood what I meant. $45 and all afternoon for what should have taken 20 minutes and half teh cost. Never going back, you shouldnt either

Please take note. Mask needed for children under 2 years old. We were informed after a 20 minute wait and informed the service would be terminated half way through the hair cut if the child did not keep the mask on.

Took my 3 year old grandson for a simple haircut on his Birthday and was treated like we were infected....She asked if he would sit by himself wich I took as, will he be cooperative...She was mean and rude. Said I can't continue the service and said leave...what a joke. I went back in and said you shaved half the kids head on his birthday....You should of said "I can't cut kids hair" or I don't like kids. Not only were they requiring a 3 year old to wear a mask but they wouldn't let one of us stand with him They were making everyone wait outside in 80 degrees. Covid is over and they are treating good people like we are all infected. Go home and stay on unemployment if you are Salty! Don't treat children like crap and then all of you nasty people wanted to actually say Something to me and try to push my buttons..I will be reporting this to L&I...
