Great Clips in Omaha, NE

Stylists are great. Always do what's wanted. They do have one new one that's loud and talks a lot

I do love gGreat Clips, I travel a bit and they are all very consistent. I figured out the app so anyone can!
This visit today was different. I was groomed by Crystal and she was amazing. She has a big heart and very knowledgeable. I have very hard water where I live and she explained that my silver hair turns yellow/orangish from the hard water deposits. Crystal explained the various types of clarifying shampoo, and how it constrict the iron out of the hair. And she explained that it needs to be done overtime. Otherwise it damages your hair. She's an expert interfield, and I was blown away by her service!!!

Gave up trying to get a haircut here. Severely understaffed and unpredictable hours due to the same. No consistency with the stylists. The appointment app leaves a lot to be desired. Another location nearby doesn't seem to have the same staffing issues. Probably due to the ownership.

I was so very hesitant to come here as it's a walk in salon and I was not familiar with any of the stylists. My normal hairdresser moved far away so, I haven't gotten a haircut in over 2 years and was feeling the need more than ever. I was looking for something inexpensive, I just wanted a trim, nothing extra like a wash or style, I was going to try to make an appointment for one of the 3 hair schools I know of around, but all of them were closed the next day and I will not be back on town for a while so I decided that this was my best option. I am a firm believer in, "you get what you pay for" which is why I was so nervous to go here (as I would have been more if I went to the school), but it was only $15 for a trim, and I got a $2 off coupon for next time.

I checked in online and it said a 0 min wait time, and when I arrived that was accurate. I was greeted and promptly checked in my my hairdresser and seated. I'm not one for small talk, it's a weakness I'll admit, but the woman was very nice and was trying her best to find things to chat about. She did a very good job and did exactly what I asked for. I am very satisfied with how everything turned out. It only took about 15-20 min. For just a trim, I will gladly come back. I have very thick and curly long hair, so I straightened it before I came and requested that she kept it dry while cutting it. If I wanted the extra things like a wash and style I would always go to a more upscale salon with an appointment, as I would not want to make anybody deal with my mess of a hair unexpectedly as not everybody has the skills to do so.

Good experience in my opinion and I would recommended to anyone who needs a basic trim fast!

I love this place! I've tried out several salons in the west Omaha area, and I've finally had to admit to myself that I get the best haircuts at the Great Clips down the road from my house. I love how affordable it is, how I can just walk in, but most especially how the stylists listen to me. I wanted a fun and edgy cut, and I finally found someone willing to listen to me and make it happen. They also do have online check in, which is easy to use with their app.
