I just came back from amherst st site and had Melanie, the butcher who cut my hair. when I asked her to cut my hair shorter she practically came out of her skin with an attitude and says well I can't do that it wont look the way you wanted it to look. Its my haircut and wanted it shorter. reluctantly she did it and it was still long. The haircut was not what I wanted and was still long. when I came home and washed my hair, I saw it was uneven. She took a whole 10 minutes and charged me 21.00 for a haircut that was terrible and with the 21.00 I got an attitude as a bonus and despite the attitude and bad haircut I still left a tip. I figured everyone has a bad day but after looking at the haircut when I got home I regretted the tip I gave her. In fact I regretted even going there. Clearly Great Clips is hard up for people. Melanie is a disgrace to the company.

Asked for a little off the side and literally came out with a Mohawk.

They ruined my daughters bangs two days before a family photo shoot. The stylist asked if I wanted more "bang for my buck" so I said please leave them long, we have important pictures in a couple of days. She hacked my daughters bangs-not just short (like halfway up her forehead) but there are two huge uneven chunks. In about 30 seconds she ruined my $750 photos.
Lesson learned. I'll pay an actual salon next time.
Easy online registration, short wait when I arrived, they asked what I wanted and did it right with plenty of detail/time.
