Great Clips in Middletown, DE

They do good haircuts fir men for a cheap price. If you want to get an excellent salon experience go to another place. To quote an African Proverb from Uganda "It is what it is"

trainees with clippers.. pathetic... think twice  before stepping in.
one lady grazed the clipper prolly no more than 5-6 times and that was it. she said she was done, that's what was in the database and that's what you get.

So these guys managed to take down my google review. But that won't deter me on exposing their bad practices so re-posting here.
I've been a regular at Great Clips since about 5 years but a recent experience at this salon left a bitter taste in my mouth. Never coming back here.
Took my 3 yo for a haircut. The stylist refused to even touch him if he wouldn't stay steady. We told her clearly that he is a bit tough to handle and has sensitivity to haircut and loud noises and we'll hold him and calm him down as much as possible. But none of the stylists were ready to cut his hair and refused to even talk to us properly. Hair cuttery graciously took us and the stylist was so patient with him and gave an awesome haircut. Now I want to make this clear that he has got a lot of his haircuts at Great Clips previously but this was my first such experience. Terrible behavior.
I sincerely hope the management reads this and instill some sense of respect in their stylists that work here so that no kid with or without special needs gets turned away in future. If you can't handle them, better mention this on your website.

I went to Great Clips (store #1773) today for a military type "high and tight". I have to say, the haircut I received is in the top 3 WORST haircuts I've had. Hillary was my barber (at least that is what is on my receipt). I am, literally, embarrassed by the haircut. It is a total hack-job. If a particular barber cannot cut a certain style, they should say so. I was hoping Sherry was working. She usually cuts my hair and is fantastic. I am contemplating cutting it myself to make it look half-way acceptable. Oh yes, I can quantify my worst haircuts. Basic training was by far the worst but this haircut is right in the running.

I'm not sure if this was the WORST or BEST haircut I have ever had...
The experience... let's just say that my hairstylist needed to blow her nose (probably more than once...), and learn more lyrics of California Girls...
The end haircut was phenomenal, but the experience was truly horrendous.
