We usually go to Great clips in Des Moines on E 14th St. The staff there is always very welcoming and pleasant to deal with. We were in Indianola today and thought since my son needed a haircut we would just go here. So we did the virtual check in when we pulled in. It said a 3 min wait time which I thought was great. When the person before us left it updated that we were checked in. We put our masks on and go in. The lady quickly yells at us that we have to go back to our car. We get in the car and wait 20 secs and then she comes out and asks if we are ready?? I wanted to say you are kidding me right. We walk in and I let her know the app said we were checked in. She then rudely said you didn't read the directions on the door. I said you know what forget it. The lady with the brown hair and glasses is not friendly. It was obviously a way of using Covid to be rude and push people around. Not acceptable! Do yourself a favor and drive over to Des Moines.
Terrible serivce at this Walmart. Took my mother to get her hair washed and they would not dry her hair. They said they had to charge me for a blow style to dry her hair. My mother is 85 years old and she has very little hair to dry. I've been to other Great Clips and they wash and blow dry for the same price. I will NOT RETURN to this Great Clips. Poor Customer Service. They don't put customers first, just their profit.
