I've been coming to Great Clips for eleven years now, the last seven at the Northcross location. I seldom have to wait, especially since they rolled out the app for checking in online. Although I usually get a different stylist each visit, I am always pleased with the result. Communication is key - I don't expect them to be able to read my mind. Their system for keeping technical notes for each customer obviously works, at least in my case. During my most recent visit, I opted to let my stylist Nessa try something a little different, using clippers rather than scissors, and even using product when I usually don't. She carefully listened to my comments in what I hoped to achieve, and she cut it just like I had requested. I cannot remember when I have been more pleased with a haircut. My hair looks better than it has in a long time. I hope to have Nessa cut my hair again. She is an excellent stylist who I would highly recommend.

I've been here 3 times thinking the next time will be better. But nope. These ladies really don't know what a line up is. I bring my son here and his hair is always messed up somehow. I don't like being mean so it's hard for me to tell them what they did wrong. The first time they cut the top of his hair and sides with no line up, the second time they lined it up all crooked and left some parts of his hair long, this time they lined it up and left the hair on the back of his neck and behind his ears.
I walked in on a Sunday at noon because the Panthers were playing at 1 p.m. Therefore, I figured it would be empty, but it wasn't. It was a 35-minute wait. No big deal because I had errands to run and could grab some lunch. Little did I know how difficult it would be to get lunch (see other reviews).

Employee: "You weren't, but if you are charged twice for some reason, just give us a call or come in and we'll fix it."
Lady: "Okay. Because I don't want to be charged twice."
