I've tried to be a customer several times. Generally there is only 1 barber working and a 45-60 minute wait. There's 10 stations in the shop. I wonder why they wasted the money on the extra 9. I've quit even trying to get a haircut there.
I have never been so quick to leave a review. The great clips by tanger outlets was the worst service I've ever received. I walked in with 3 kids under the age of 5 (it's raining outside) and there was only one other person in the salon getting their hair done. She made me wait outside while my kids are trying to run away into the parking lot, asking me questions about Covid, and then tells me that I need to wait outside (in the rain with all 3 kids) until my sons appointment. I could understand if the salon was packed. But again there was only one other person in there. All of the staff was unwelcoming, and glaring at my kids as if they should be behaving better. They clearly have no experience with kids (they were all on the younger side) they also made my 3 year old son wear a mask, which isn't a requirement by the government and should not be enforced.
Sorry, requiring my 3 year old to wear a mask is beyond ridiculous. Not a soul in the building and half way through the cut, the stylist stops to tell me to cover my nose with my mask. And then the host tells me that as of two weeks ago all customers regardless of age are required to wear a mask. I asked who passed that rule and she didn't know. I researched this new mandate and couldn't find it anywhere. Sounds like it's completely fabricated to me. One star. Won't be back.
Really enjoy this Great Clips location! It's located next to Starbucks (win!) & is just enough away from the Tanger Outlet Mall that it's has dedicated parking. I ALWAYS use their app to sign in ahead of time - it gives you an accurate live-time wait. All you have to do is check-in with the front desk when you get there. Easy peasy! This is my go-to location to get my kids hair cut. They have books to read while you wait (we enjoyed a rousing rendition of Go Dog Go this morning) & a treasure chest at the end for them to choose a sucker & small toy. The stylists are always pleasant to work with & my kids look cute for $12 or less (bang trims are $5). Highly recommend!
