Great Clips in Brighton, CO

Short wait, area was clean.  Stylist was in a hurry and really butchered my husbands hair.  Cut was uneven and scraggly. We had to clean it up with scissors.   Won't go there again.

Went to get a cute A-line haircut where it is a little longer in the front and short in the back.  I have had it before and it was great.  I showed the stylist a picture  and she had no expressions and said nodded her head and said "k".  Then she made the first cut and continued to tell me how much she hates this hairstyle and doesn't understand why people like it.   My stomach dropped and I got so nervous.   She hates this haircut and is telling me a paying client how it's terrible and now I'm stuck bc she already has started cutting.  Then a few minutes later a mom and her son maybe 6 years old came in.  Mom said to the other stylist...he is on the autism spectrum so I'll be here to help.  The boy was crying and screaming but mom and stylist were doing great.  Then my stylist leans in and says "I wish people wouldn't bring their kids in to our shop.   It just traumatizes us as stylist and it's not fair."   My mouth dropped at her judgement.  I wanted to cry at her behavior.  This mom is doing an amazing job, the stylist doing the kiddos hair was amazing and my rude stylist couldn't look past her own ideas.  I didn't know what to say and prayed that I could be done fast.   She got done cutting my hair and said "huh..it actually does look kind of cute on you!"   What!!!!  Thankfully she actually did do a good job but why was their doubt in her mind.  If she didn't want to do it then why was she cutting my hair I paid and ran out of there.  I didn't even wait for a receipt or get her name.  I had to get out of there.  So please be careful when going to this store.

I've gone to numerous great clips and have had unpleasant experiences, but I have NEVER walked out of one until I had a very specific incident at this location. A hair dresser ("Renee") was unable to have any kind of control over her emotional mindset and was very untrained regarding customer interaction.  I was treated so poorly, as someone who was potentially going to give my hard earned money (and tip very well might I add) to this organization, I immediately took off the paper collar, got out of the chair and walked out. To the other kind hair dressers, I apologize if you get associated with this employee/complaint but unfortunately I will never be returning to this location again.

I had tried checking in online but it wouldn't let me because the list was full. I was always told to just come in in case people don't show up. So I came in for a haircut, half hour before closing. No one was in the chair and no one was waiting. Even though there were 2 employees available, I was turned away because their were 7 people on the online waitlist that hadn't arrived. Even though there was no one there, I was told that they weren't taking any more walk-ins. Waited 10 mins outside to see if anyone would show up and no one did. Bad policy.

I LOVE my haircut/stylist so much when I moved to Colorado Springs I will continue to come to this Great Clips. I have never had a bad experience with any rudeness or anger, everyone I have ever felt with was very pleasant and professional with the BEST knowledge of hair products to use for every type of hair. I absolutely would recommend this Great clips and the stylus to anybody looking for a fantastic haircut!
