Great Clips in Arden, NC

I called around trying to find a place that would help us with Locks of Love. My nephew had grown his hair for multiple years. His hair was very long, he wanted it cut and to donate to Locks of Love. We just didn't know the procedure?

Great Clips told us that they specifically cut hair for donation.

I was so grateful they did not charge him for the haircut and the stylist gave him an excellent cut.

For the donation they cut his hair a specific way keeping it all together with rubber bands then cutting.

The stylist gave me the envelope and  the address, all I had to do was put it in the mail.

This is a really great thing Great Clip's does. We didn't expect a free cut we just didn't know the procedure. Our stylist was so good, we made sure we left a large tip for her. Thank you Great Clips.

Arrived without an appointment when they opened and was lucky to be greeted by Allison who gave my hair a very long overdo trimming of the dead ends- it made all the difference in the world! Allison is friendly, welcoming and extremely good at her craft!  
Will be a returning patron!

My hair is garbage. I inherited a dead scalp from my father. I've not given up and flatly refuse to. There are times when my hair looks bad in weird way, and other times where it looks good in a good way. Quarantine saw my hair grow passed my shoulders, and the sides and back were BEAUTIFUL, but it's not a good look for a 40+ dude.

Scared as hell, I went to GC and was seen by R.,.
R was very gentle with me and reassuring. Her easy  conversational way had me relaxed and not at all worried about my hair. I had asked her to go SHORT on back and sides, and try to give me enough to work with up top. I had brought my cousin along with me for moral support, which was a good call.

Following the cut, I settled up and cousin and I went to the car. As I was starting the car, she had me look at her, so she could surmise for herself. One of my harshest critics, I was scared of what she might say or that she would tell me I'd made a horrible mistake!

She looked me right in the eyes and said, "No $hi+, that's the BEST your hair has EVER looked!! You look so cute! Seriously, you look amazing and she did a GREAT JOB!

That's my experience. It was the best hair cutting experience I've had in the past 3-4yrs. Definite recommend. Don't care for the online check in and queue system.

Best experience in one of these busy places. Usually the attitude stInks. Which I completely understand since they're overwhelmingly busy, but it's still a horrible experience having your hair cut by an angry stressed out human.
Went in a month ago for a trim, wasn't sure what I wanted. Kat was amazing, listened to everything I had to say and gave me the best V cut ever. Better than high end places. She's a gem. And best part- she was zen the whole time.

Worst haircut for my son today. Could have done a better job with a pair of clippers. I wanted to go back but my son said he would be embarrassed. The hair dresser should be embarrassed. Never going back.
