Good price for the feed in that I got. The idea of what I wanted was executed. But the work itself, the braids could have been neater. Not what I expect for a professional job.

I thought I found my spot but I guess not. Not good business practice. First time was great. Price and service were great - $185 for Senegalese twists (synthetic hair included). Three months later for the same exact style just shorter, I was quoted $280. I'm all for price increases but that's crazy for the same exact style when just the day before I was quoted $180 for smaller box braids but had to bring my hair cause I wanted human hair. That was even fair, but decided to get my previous style instead. Lost a repeat customer. A few of my friends went here too and never paid more than $200 for any style in this place.

I have to let you all know that I have been to a few hair braiding shops around Charlotte and this one has won top spot for me. Yes, it did take a little longer than I thought it would and it's African hair braiding so it's going to be tight, but they actually do what I ask! Everybody else always tells me something else I should do, or if I take a picture they miss the mark and those others are always more expensive. Glory did exactly what I asked for without haggling or charging me a ridiculous price. It was about $40 cheaper than the other place quoted me for the same hairstyle. I will be back!

I've decided to give them 1 star due to bad business practices. The first hairstyle I spent $185 and the second was $260. The first time that I had my hair braided, I asked the owner if it cost more to get all the boxes the same size and she said, no. Once I showed her the pics she asked me to come back and she would fix them for me. I agreed to, but after sitting there so long for my hairstyle, it was just too, much. Therefore I decided to give them another chance to rectify there initial mess up. I sent the owner a pic of what I wanted. It was a picture of crochets, but I wanted box braids. I asked how much would it cost and I was quoted $260. I agreed because the braids were small and long. It took 12hrs of waiting and braiding bc I had to wait on the braider a couple of times. Once to arrive, then to run an errand and of course the actual braiding process itself. Once she finished, the owner spoke of how beautiful they were and I agreed. From the front they were beautiful. I even tipped the braider $20! Once the soreness began to leave, I ran my fingers through my scalp and I could feel the difference in the middle. It was about the space of about four fingers, from one until the next. This wasn't acceptable at all. I sent the owner a text message and she never responded. When you quote someone a price and they accept, the service should meet the standard. This is bad business practice. Treat someone the way that you want to be treated. I will never return and I will never recommend another soul to them.
