I had an appointment with KINYA JOHNSON to get my hair braided for March 27 that she cancelled stating her kids were sick. She was originally really accommodating she offered to reschedule or refund me & I chose to reschedule for April 9,2021 at 2:00. At 1:40 she messaged me on FB and asked if I could come at 2:30pm. Which I responded "Ok" and she viewed that message. I get to the shop at 2:30pm with my children and mother we go in and I see no one so I walk to the back where I see a stylist washing someone's here and asked is KINYA here? They stated she was not here TODAY. Which tells me ok I have the right location maybe she just isn't here yet. I go to my car sit there for an hr messaging Kinya with no response. I can see she got the messages but isn't responding. I leave at about 3:30pm and sent her a message to just refund me my deposit. She messages me the next day stating I didn't show up . WHAT??? I showed up she was not there and now she has stolen my money and scammed me. Do not go here they have scammers at this salon.
