I moved to the area recently so I hadn't tried out the local barbers until this past weekend. I was hoping to find a barber who could become my go to for a regular haircut. I prefer a barber because they tend to be faster and more efficient with their time. Well, I got fast but I am not so sure about the efficient part.

The owner appears to be the sole barber working here, she seemed put off by my fairly standard haircut choice. She cut my hair much shorter than was requested and rather than just apologize when it was gently pointed out (along with a reassurance on my part that it was really not a big deal) she seemed to be offended and quickly ended the cut without checking it over.

When I got home I found several spots that I had to snip with my own scissors. It does not seem as though the owner is really looking for any new customers. I felt very unwelcome and after overhearing her mention of the shop moving (the place was a huge mess) I asked about the move. She was not interested in explaining to me where the move was taking place and instead said "oh you'll see it".

The fact that she made multiple assumptions without asking first was really off putting. Overall I was incredibly disappointed in the experience. I would certainly recommend against going here if you are not one of her regulars unless you enjoy being treated poorly.
