Brian, stylist and salon manager, colored my hair with a DIFFERENT color than we agreed to-- WITHOUT telling me. He never returned my calls when I called hoping to have him correct the color. Very unprofessional. I reported him to the MN Board of Cosmetology. I would avoid this salon.
I visit here for my regular waxing and eyebrows threading... I visit beauty service provider named Nanhitha.. she does a good job... she's pretty fast and efficient... i recommended her to my friends as well... she does threading, waxing and facial services...
I've always been treated great here by the team. They also sell Eminence skin care and I go out of my way to purchase it there. I would highly recommend this Salon.
Kellie Johnson is an excellent hair stylist for curly hair. She has cut my hair twice and both times her work has made my curly hair much more manageable and attractive. The first time I went to her, my hair was a mess and I told her I wanted to grow it out and yet I did not want it to be huge (curly hair, remember). She carefully cut it in layers and shaped it nicely. I was (and still am) very pleased. This time, she shaped it again and took out some of the fluff. It is lovely and easy to manage. Kellie's price for just a hair cut is quite reasonable, considering that GiVan's is a classy place. She is friendly and listens well to what you want, asking questions to make sure she understands what you are communicating. She is both very professional and friendly. I've been here once. Doesn't that say it all? Rhetorical. They charged my card twice. Yes, I received a refund a few days later but what if I had had the works done on my visit and the bill was a couple hundred dollars? So four hundred would be tied up for days? Not cool.
