The Gallery Salon is fantastic! I have short hair and not everyone can do shorter styles, but they nail it every time. I also love the vibe there - everyone is friendly and feels like a big family. People are always asking me where I get my hair cut - I have referred so many folks and all have been delighted with their cuts. They also do an amazing job with color. Worth every penny!

There are two parts of this review. I am somewhat of a new client of this salon due to my colorist relocating from her former salon. My colorist, Danielle, is amazing! She never disappoints and does amazing work. Extremely knowledgeable and personable. Always offering if she can get me any type of refreshments while I'm in her chair. Absolutely zero issues with her. I've been going to see her for my hairstyling needs for years already. She's wonderful! While entering the salon, the owner is always very warm and welcoming. I had a hair appointment back in June. So on my way out, I decided to not only make my next hair appointment for July but also a gel mani/pedi for the same day in which case I did. Fast-forward to the day before my dual salon appointment (hair and nails). I get a phone call from the salon while I was at work that they had to move my appointment time for my gel mani/pedi. I asked why and the receptionist told me when it was scheduled, they didn't allow enough time. So she asked if it can get moved to a later time. I had plans to drive to Connecticut for a birthday party for my brother-in-law, so it really couldn't be moved. The receptionist had no compassion or willingness to accommodate me in rescheduling my mani/pedi appointment. All she kept saying is they are booked for the next month or two. She left me no choice but to cancel them altogether and schedule elsewhere. I don't feel this should have been the case at all as I would have been a new client for one of their nail techs. She took the easy route in calling and canceling the new client instead of disappointing their already-established client. The receptionist needs to build her customer service and personable skills in handling clients. She speaks with an uncaring, unprofessional and dismissive tone, which is highly irritating. I really hope she works on that.

I have gone to so many different salons over the years looking for a stylist that would provide the perfect haircut and I have finally found it! Lori is by far, the best stylist I have ever had! She understands what style you're going for and even suggests what looks good and makes it happen! I've gone for a trim and she cuts so perfectly straight that I can go months without a trim since it always looks so fresh! I love the hair washing sinks; you get to actually rest your head without having to constantly hold it up in the traditional sinks at salons. The atmosphere in this salon is so much fun! I always find myself laughing while getting pampered there! Absolutely recommend!!!

I went to a couple of people to try and get my hair highlighted they both said they couldn't do that to my hair since I colored it for so many years Doreen not only highlighted my hair with no problems she did an amazing cut also - I've gotten so many compliments - not many people can highlight curly/wavy hair well - super happy ask for Doreen she does an amazing foil highlight coloring job !!

Pre-covid, management was selfish and didn't understand people who were going through a financial problem. One can only wish that they now understand what it's like to go though financial hardship. And honestly the haircuts were overpriced. People were pretty snobby. There are much better options around.
