Gala Nails in Temple Hills, MD

I needed a pedicure at the last minute and my regular shop was out of my way so I decided to stop here on my way home to get ready for my event, how bad could a pedicure be? I was seated quickly, and they started soaking my feet, but the lady who worked on me was so extremely rude because I did not want to get my eyebrows done. She was just unprofessional the entire time. I definitely will not be back.

I just got a fill-in with gel polish done at this salon today. I asked the tech how long it would be because I had something do and he said it would be 30 minutes. I ended up being there for an hour and 15 minutes just for a fill-in. After he was done and I saw my nails, I didn't like them...they were thick, lumpy and uneven. I paid and left, but ended up going right back because my nails really looked bad and I wanted them fixed. The technician agreed to fix them and they did look better, but still not great...and on top of that, the tech damaged my real nails with the drill when he was trying to fix them. As if that wasn't enough, I just got my nails done today and the gel polish is already chipping. To be fair, I also got a pedicure when I was there and that service was with a different technician and it was fine. I tried to call to let them know, but they were already closed. I will be calling back tomorrow, but all I really wanted was to get a professional nail service and go about my business. The fact that this took so much of my time today, and will also take up some of my time tomorrow, is unacceptable. If the manager or owner of this salon sees this review, please send me a reply on here and I'll give you my contact info. I'd like to give you guys a chance to make it right. Thx.

Ok I'm so pissed I'm sitting in the chair to write this review. First of all I walked in and asked for a pedicure. That's it. She told me to wash my hand and have a seat. I waited over 40 minutes for this lady to come do my pedicure. If it was gonna be this long of a wait you should definitely tell somebody! It was so many times I was about to walk out but I literally have no time I stopped past here for a quick pedicure and expected to be out the door no longer than 45 minutes really. Here we are. A hour later and she's just starting my feet. She just got a call about her scheduling I'm assuming and she left again to go to the front and help the customer over the phone. In my opinion she could have told whoever it was to give her a call back after she finish after she ALREADY had me waiting a hour. I said all this to say this. I will never come back to this place.

This nail shop is nice and I always go to Phi! I've followed her from several nail shops. She is amazing and I will continue to my nail tech!

I've been to this place before and lucked out with a decent technician. I wanted to pamper myself and got the most expensive package they offer. I had a decent experience. I would say three out of five but I did feel that the pedicure was average and not worth "spa pricing". This time was different. I experienced rude and rough service. When I saw how rude the treatment was from just walking in and being told not to look at the colors, where I couldn't sit etc..I realized that kind of attitude would never lead to a relaxing experience. Even though I walked in with the intention of getting and more expensive package I chose the simple pedicure for just that reason. When I was barely given 20 seconds of a foot exfoliation I asked for more time. The tech spent 5 minutes lecturing (even though she couldn't give me one minute on my foot) me about what I get for that price of the basic pedicure. She proceeded to detail how many things she has to do within a short amount of time so she could quickly finish. Basically, I would only get a decent pedicure from them if I paid for the pricier packages which frankly were NOT worth the money. I timed 20 seconds on each foot of exfoliation and ZERO time on a foot massage. By the time I left the pedicure was already chipping. See the picture below literally taken five minutes after I walked out the door. She didn't bring me my shoes. This place sucks pig. They can't expect people to pay spa prices when you they act like they are working at a gas station.
