Last minute wanted a blowout for a next day business meeting. Decided to give this salon a try as it was conveniently located in Dunellen. What a find! Was treated graciously by the family that owned the salon and most importantly got a great blow out from Gabby! Will definitely be back to try their other services.

They were unimaginably talented, generous and gracious. They truly gave me the most beautiful haircut and color-and my hair is a nightmare!!!! I never liked my hair before that day!!! They were the sweetest family and put so much effort into their work. Their daughter washes the hair -she is absolutely wonderful! So attentive, so sweet. And the owner-the father is so kind and incredibly talented!!! They are all sweethearts.

Michael did an amazing job and made all my dreams come true! I got a lob the first time I went, and could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone was so helpful and very kind. Would recommend this place to everyone!

I have naturally very curly hair, and if you have curly hair you know how hard and annoying it gets maintaining it. I came here as I was recommended by my coworker who got a Japanese straightening treatment and her hair looked sooo awesome! I made an appointment, came and Mike looked through my hair and when I told him I wanted a Japanese straightening treatment he told me that it wouldn't work since I had color treated hair. However he did recommend me "Magic Sleek"!. It's an alternative hair straightening treatment that works on color treated hair and it's supposed to be less damaging than the Japanese one. So I agreed. Mind you guys, I came there around 12pm and I left around 7pm! I literally spent a whole day at the salon doing the magic sleek treatment. It takes very long, but people there were working hard on my hair, two people at a time were straightening it. It did get pretty uncomfortable, I was getting very tired and the straightening iron (it was blue and somewhat old looking) one of the girls was using was really pulling my hair and it was HURTING. I asked them to try another one and it didn't hurt as much anymore. The staff is super sweet and nice. Though out the 7 hours of my treatment, they fed me, they supplied me drinks and they even paid for my parking meter! Big plus for that. The reason why it's 4 stars and not 5 was the haircut. I did ask for a straight haircut, and they didn't do a very good job with that. I didn't notice it until I got home; it was very uneven, and the layers were not very "gradient". I called in to ask if they could redo the cut and Michael totally agreed. Next day when I came in, Michael offered a complimentary deep conditioning treatment on behalf of the bad haircut. He did fix my cut, but it was still....not really what I wanted and not fully even. But it was still good, not complaining. He was very sweet about me coming back and didn't charge me for anything. I still offered a tip and he refused to take it. It's been 6 months since I got my Magic Sleek Treatment, and my hair is still straight! My roots have grown in, and I still need to apply some heat if I actually want it to look "sleek" but it's not hard to maintain. Good job for a small family salon overall:)

One of the best haircuts I've ever had! I was trying to find a new hair salon, so decided to give this place a shot. I'm so glad I did. At first I thought the technique was a little strange; they washed and dried my hair first and then cut it. I'm used to having my hair washed, cut, THEN dried. But it totally worked. Michael listened to what I wanted and made my hair look great. It felt so soft and healthy. While he was styling my hair, he was giving me tips for how to copy it at home, which I appreciated. He also recommended some hair treatments but I didn't buy any this time. I will definitely be back!
