Fringe Salon Studio in Portland, OR

Ana Fazio gave me the best haircut I have ever had!!!!
She really listened to what I wanted and improved my har style immensely.
I have been in Europe for 10 weeks waiting to return home so she can cut my hair. Believe it or not, the haircut she gave me 10 weeks ago still looks good!

She is very personable and talented! I highly recommend her!

I have never left a review for a business as I've been in the service industry and I believe we're all just doing the best we can. But my experience with this one is rather strange.

I was very excited to try this place.. unfortunately due to strange scheduling practices, this has been impossible. I called two days ago to inquire about an appointment since the website doesn't offer any information about scheduling. After the phone rang for what seemed like minutes, a frazzled person answered the phone. I asked if they cut men's hair and if I can make an appointment. They said they would look into and text me later.. an hour later I get a very unprofessionally formatted texted message asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment. Clearly I did (emphasis on did) since I called to schedule. Since then it's been a back and forth, with hours in between responses from the business. Finally when I got a text actually offering appointment availability, it was 11:30pm. What business it texting potential clients that late? When I provided the time I was interested in, I was told that I would actually need to schedule something earlier that day. Let's just say, the excitement I had is no longer there and I am very surprised this salon has any business since they can't even schedule an appointment.

Great location in the Pearl district. My stylist was friendly and gave me some great local info about Portland.

I have lived in Portland and have tried some pretty great stylists- it was always too dark.

Ana at Fringe Salon in the Pearl is Amazingly Talented and her use of color is the best! I am a brunette and she has made my hair beautiful and soft with this chocolate with a touch of Auburn. She is so great at her craft and is also so kind with the biggest most patient heart. She listens and follows my cue with suggestions. Fringe is such a chill salon in the Pearl and go to Ana you will be so happy! A perfectionist with the color and the cut!

I can't say enough about this salon. The stylists are all so friendly and make everyone feel at home. I am in and out of hair salons all day long due to my business. I own a Hair Cutting Scissor Company and have several Portland salons as my clients. So it has always been difficult to choose a stylist as there are so many fabulous stylists in Portland. However, it  is very important for me to know that my stylist is consistently advancing their education and investing in their vocation by attending advanced color & cutting classes. Styles are constantly changing as are hair color and  styling products. Which makes it crucial for stylists to take classes and seek out additional training to stay at the top of their profession. This is why I chose Coleen at Fringe Salon Studio as my stylist. She loves what she does and learning & training others is a big part of that.  I have never been as happy with my hair as I am now that Coleen is doing it. My color is exactly what I want and Coleen is so easy to work with when I want a change. I highly recommend Coleen or any of the stylists at Fringe Salon Studio. I promise you won't be disappointed.
