Fringe Hair in Jamestown, NY

During a visit home from Florida I realized I desperately needed my hair colored and conditioned. Amanda was kind enough to fit me in her schedule already filled with "regulars." Needless to say my hair has NEVER looked better!! I wish she was a stylist in Florida. I come north every quarter so I will surly be seeing her every quarter. She was able to refer me to a former colleague in Florida so I now have a stylist in Florida as well. The salon was super comfortable with trendy and high end products. I HIGHLY recommend Fringe salon to any and all people who want or need a knowledgeable stylist/color specialist. This place is top notch and all the other salons in the area can't even compete!

Both wife and i get our haircuts here and feel they do very good. Nice location right in downtown Jamestown. We have Allison and she is very good professional stylist.

Writing this review makes me sad, but people need to know the truth. The first time I went to this place I had a good experience. I told my sister to get her haircut here with Sam bc of my good experience. She made an appointment online. Never got a confirmation back. So she DM them on Instagram and then messaged them on Facebook. No answer. She called multiple times, no answer. The day of her appointment she called and again no answer. A day later she got a message and it was kinda unapologetic. Gave her a discount but she wasn't going to go after chasing them. During my first appointment Sam (the owner) gave me her phone number so I could contact her for the next appointment. I was still in college and I wanted to schedule my hair appointment before vacation. So May 24th was the day. The day before I never got a confirmation but it was late at night so I waited until early in the morning. At 8 am I texted her and she said i was never in the schedule(she forgot to put me in). She apologized and got me in the next day. The next day I got there and I was rushed through my appointment. She cut 5 inches off my hair. Not at all what I wanted. Never asked during the cutting to make sure it was good with me. I wanted to keep my length but cut off the dead ends so like 2 inches?? Not 5. She gave me huge layers and cut like 8 inches off. My curtain bangs were not at all what I wanted. They are were horribly short after I told her I wanted them longer but not as short as the average. My hair was not curled since she rushed me out. $20 with the discount because she messed up. I still tipped well because I have a conscious. I got out to my car and looked at my hair and I was literally about to cry. I looked like a boy. The picture before of the after i tried to make it look as good as possible. It's 2 weeks later and I still hate it. Never going back again. My previous review on google: Such a beautiful place. Sam is a great person and she did an amazing job on my hair. Great prices too!!
