Update.. the owner came to me today and acknowledged her mistake. She went out of her way to make it up to me. She wanted to offer me a free manicure which I refused because I know she's running a business and needs to make money. She gave me a gift certificate when I left. I appreciate the way she treated me today.
I have to say, this place is hands down my new favorite nail spot! I was wasting my time and money at other salons. Rose did such a good job taking care of me. It took me one time here and they won themselves a new customer! I have never had dip nails so nicely done! Thin and sturdy (not too thick like other places would do). I would come in with an idea of what I'd want, and Rose would help me pick the color! She is detail oriented and very efficient in her work. I can't recommend this place enough!!! The color of the dip I got is Funny Bunny!
They were late for 35 minutes because the employees wasn't informed of my appointment. Nails were done poorly and cut too short. Nails looked horrible and not fit for an occasion. It took me 3 hours to get a horrible experience.
Unfortunately, my haircut didn't turn out as expected. The stylist seemed a bit rushed and didn't pay much attention to the details. To add to the frustration, an extra $20 was charged for long hair without prior notice. Clear communication and attention to detail are essential in the service industry. Won't be returning to this salon.
Have been back a few times and unfortunately, it just hasn't been the best results with any technician unless I'm able to book with Rose. I booked an appointment with Nancy for dip and I didn't get her despite the appointment. The lady I had today was very, very nice and friendly and helpful with trying to get the color I wanted, so I felt bad correcting the appointment oversight, but I had to come home and file my nails to make them even, I noticed that the dip isn't on all of my nail on some, and left over color from my previous mani on my skin. Just disappointing for the cost and amount of time spent, especially cause I really like everyone I had interacted with at this salon.
