Walk-ins are welcome here. Friendly and skillful staff, but there is NO VENTILATION whatsoever at this salon! A thick fog of moisture and hair product hung in the air, it looked like a steam room. They charged me $60 for a wash cut style and blowdry.
Absolutely love the place. China does the NYC Dominican blow out. The vibe there was amazing! I haven't had my hair done with anyone else and do not plan to!
BLACK WOMEN BEWARE!! My stomach is in knots as I write this review. I went to this salon yesterday for a simple wash and set. They pull your hair out with small combs, don't thoroughly wash your hair and best of all they will burn your hair off! LITERALLY! One visit and the front my hair is completely burnt off and gone! I was wondering why the hairstylist was having such a hard time with laying my hair flat in the front. She was grabbing any hairspray she could find to lay my hair flat. After I get home I see why I think to myself I must be imagining this. This cannot be that she burnt my hair off literally the front of my hair is stubble and she didn't say anything. This "service" should've been free and they should be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT GO HERE! They are not licensed and should be shut down! I will be looking into ways I can take action against this salon! They will not get away with this ever again!
This salon is fabulous...they even offer you cafe con Leche y pan......yummy...the time is not too bad and they really know hair!!! Love the family atmosphere and my hair is gorgeous ....I have found my salon
