I admit, I don't buy a lot of makeup. I come here to buy skin and hair care products, as well as bath products. I have always been greeted as soon as I arrive and assisted immediately, whenever I have asked for help. I've had my hair highlighted and cut in the Ulta Salon by Tina and I have ALWAYS walked out feeling and looking fabulous!
I love love LOVE this place!! As soon as I walked in I was greeted, I was even asked if I needed any help. They helped me find the perfect foundation shade that works for my skin tone and I'm in love with it!!! I've never had a bad experience. Thank you so much ladies
I've been to this location multiple times in the past few months and my experience is consistently worse than the time before. Most of the staff, including the manager do not know their store well at all and are very rude. There was one kind African American worker there that was very helpful. As I was checking out I watched the cashier yell at her to "just go sit in the corner and regroup". She said in such a rude, demeaning way that it brought me to tears. Even though it is the closest location to where I live, I absolutely refuse to ever go back there. It has almost made me not want to return to an ULTA anywhere, ever again!
If I could give this a half star I would. I've been in the Lapeer location twice in 4 weeks, each time for approximately 20 minutes or longer. I was not greeted when I entered the store, I was never offered any help, in fact I was ignored. The first time there were 4 employees on the floor and not one of them spoke to me the second time in the store was much the same. Employees walked past me like I was invisible. This took place in January/February. This past December I visited the Miller Road store in Flint. Completely ignored! What is up with these Ulta stores? Do you only hire the uber stuck up? Three strike you're out Ulta, I'll never shop there again.
I walked in on a friday night at around 8:30 they employees were awful and rude. I asked about a certain primer I was looking for and was told "idk it should be somewhere over there" I was like okay and went to go look and as I was browsing I heard one of them say "oh my god hurry up I want to go home" while looking directly at me. I was appalled at how rude they were.
