This is The WORST.... nail shop in Inverness. I went to get a mani pedi. no one was in there. I had to wait 15 mins to be seated. one of the guys started my pedi ok. He asked if I wanted my nails cut down. i said yes. Just a little. The next thing I know I have NO AND I MEAN NO TOE NAILS!!! I asked me why he cut them so short and he said it will look really good. I knew right then i should've gotten up and left. but being nice I let him continue. To make a long story short; by the end of my service my toes where all cut up and short as ever. I will Never go back!!!!
tried taking a clear picture but the camera wouldn't focus. i got my nails done exactly a week ago on november 25 it is currently december 2. the thin piece shown is the part of the acrylic that was on my cuticle. the guy that did my nails made the nail so thin so they did not last long at all. do not recommend going to kevin, the place may not be so bad but kevin sure isn't great. also said medium length and he did short, and did square when i said coffin. he also didn't cut my nails before gluing the nail tips on, and did not size them. he just put the glue on and picked a tip didn't see if it would fit or not. and half of them were glued angling up and all look bad.
I am new to the area, I have been getting my nails done for years in my previous city...NEVER have I had a worse experience. Most unwelcoming staff and overly cluttered to the point it made me question how they could possibly really clean. But desperation made me stay. During my nail service the gentleman nicked 8 of 10 cuticles with zero apology for even the one that made me jump. When he asked if my nails were good and I responded with a question, "can you please fix this?" He literally rolled his eyes and sighed loudly. He did fix the nail that had no dip powder by the cuticle so that it looked grown out. No cuticle oil or lotion after the service. Buyer beware if you chose to use this salon.
I am very happy with my nails. They listened to me and did what I wanted. I finally found a salon I like.
The techs were great, my nails came out really nice. We recently moved here from Palm Beach and have really struggled finding a good nail salon (this is the 4th we've tried!) We definitely found our "home" salon! My teen daughter and I both got dip done. She got a full set and had a pic from the internet of point-shaped nails and I just had it done on my nails. Both came out amazing
