Fantastic Sams Cut & Color in Roseville, MN

Was super disappointed with my haircut. I wasn't asked what way I parted my hair. She parted my hair in the middle, and after everything I had friends saying my hair was longer with some strands then others and I had to cut them myself. I also came in for a shampoo and haircut which was advertised on their site. A spray bottle was used on my head and no shampoo was done. Was super disappointed when I went to pay thinking it wouldn't be much because of the lack of services, but it turned out to be $27! I will not be returning!

The one stylist did my Nephews hair. They had the whole salon cracking up. She did such a fantastic job with the actual haircut and engaging him in to conversation. The other stylists clients all left satisfied during his Haircut. He told me on the way home he'll never cut his own bangs again bc he enjoyed getting his hair washed and the blowout at the end. Also said he's saving his money bc he wants their tingly shampoo... bye bye 3 inches.

I decided to try this place as I received a 20% off coupon. I scheduled an appointment for 2 pm. I got there at 2 pm and was asked if I had an appointment to which I replied yes, then a minute goes by and I am asked again. I finally got the only stylist I could see to come and help me only to be told it would be a few minutes. About 10 minutes later the stylist said she needed to clean up and she could cut my hair. The hair cut was ok, the customer service could be much better. The cleanliness of the salon was not very good. Doubt I will go back. The last time I got my hair cut at Cost Cutters and the haircut was actually better and cheaper. I give two stars as the stylist was pleasant.

3 inches. 3 inches is what I discussed with the stylist. 3 inches is what I mentally prepared myself to trim off. The thought of AT LEAST 3 inches, made me sweat, panic and express many times to each person I saw in the salon that I only get my hair trimmed every six months. Whitney who is no longer there usually does it. I saw familiar faces thought they would recognize me and understand what I was saying, how much a simple hair trim exhausts me and makes me feel uneasy. THIRTEEN INCHES. THIRTEEN INCHES is what she took from me. Yes took from me! You may see me and tell me it's only hair, it will grow back, and it's still technically long. But that is not the point. I hadn't prepared myself for that. I cried when I got home knowing it was shorter than 3 inches missing, I cried when I took a shower to wash my hair myself hoping it wasn't as bad as It looked because I should mention the stylist opted for a 'dry cut' session. I cried the next day when I went to work feeling self conscious that everyone was looking at my significant loss of locks. It being almost a week later and I have still cried when I look at myself in the mirror. My security blanket is gone, and my confidence is gone. I wear my hair up now so people can't see the length bc I'm so self conscious about it. I feel it's worth mentioning that 13 inches is also more than enough to donate to those who need wigs. I have donated almost 100 inches in my lifetime, and taking and discarding 13 inches without my consent isn't just taking it from me, it's taking it from people who could have used it and needed it. That's how upset I am over this. I've had people offer me money for my hair but I donate. That's what I do. You took it for $24 ($19 dry cut-$5 tip for yourself). I will NEVER go back here. To the stylist who CUT, NOT TRIMMED my hair as requested and TOOK 13 inches NOT 3 as discussed. I hope you see this, I hope you feel bad and I hope you listen to the clients from now on. My first impression of you was way off, and for that I apologize. You are a beautiful person of color with luscious locs. I thought you would understand the importance of hair. Boy was I wrong!

I went today for a haircut and eyebrow wax. I was left with almost no eyebrows that where uneven, and my hair had incorrect layers and the left side is about an inch longer than than the right side. Also while blow drying my hair it felt like she was burning my head. Yet my step mom who had exact same thing done hers cake out amazing and eyebrows looked amazing.
