My mother in law and wife came in this past weekend for a cut and color. To me don't seem like much but amounting to just shy of $400 for both. We will not be returning based off not receiving what they had asked for, and then now poor professionalism when brought up to the company. I'm not one to complain but if someone asks for blonde orange and fried hair isn't how they want to leave. Just warning anyone else who is interested in the same kind of work.
For those that may not know, Anna did NOT retire from Supercuts, she is the new co-owner of Fantastic Sams on Lake Pleasant Pkwy in Peoria AZ 623-376-6114! Impressive, very nice facility, EXCELLENT lighting, comfortable seating in waiting area. Very important, this salon is open every day and now open on Sundays too. Website and door signage are being updated to indicate Sunday opening. Anna would be delighted to hear from you. Wishing Anna and her team much success.
I wear my hair relatively short. The stylist did an okay job. I didn't realize that a shampoo was included in the price of the haircut. A hair wash wasn't even offered to me. The whole appointment was about 15 minutes. Plus, the stylist made a comment about "my hairy neck" which I think was rather rude! Not going back!
I have to laugh at people who give places like Fantastic Sam's a bad review! What are you expecting, a salon like in Beverly Hills(or more locally, Scottsdale)? It may be a little bit of trial & error, but when you find the right stylist, it's a great place. Have been going to the Lake Pleasant store for 7 years, and for the most part, they do an excellent job. If you go to a fast food joint, do you say," the hamburger was a little tough, the condiments were not organic, and the server was a bit too business-like"?
Ashlynn is a lifesaver!!! I brought my daughter to get some highlights. We didn't know that an old temporary hair color we had used months ago clung onto her hair and the highlights were coming out with chunks of pink and orange thanks to the leftover dye. Ashlynn treated the damaged hair with special shampoo and some toner. She completely fixed it and it looks amazing!! What a life saver!!!! We are definitely coming back to see her again. Thanks girl!!
