Fantastic Sams Cut & Color in Northfield, MN

Brought our 6 year old daughter in looking for Matrix Insta-Cure. The beautician said they do not carry it but they have something just like it for about $6 more for about 6 ounces less. She then said they had this really great product that would be perfect for her natural spiral curls called Fantastic Moisture Nourishing Serum. Within a week of use our daughter began complaining about her scalp hurting. Upon inspection we noticed open sores all over her scalp. After reviewing ingredients, naive us, we realized it was a product that should not have been recommended for use on a child.

I have been looking for a great stylist for years, and then after eating at El Tequilla I stopped in at Fantastic Sam's in Northfield. Jessica was available to cut my hair, and she did a totally wonderful job. I have been back several times, and always get incredible service and a great cut. Ask for Jessica, she's the best stylist I've seen in years.

Worst hair cut EVER. Never going back. Stylist is nice, asked enough questions, then preceeded to cut it to her liking. Totally screwed up my bangs. Will be waiting awhile for this to grow out.

I went to Fantastic Sams because they have late hours. It was the only place open when I got off work. I've never liked it. I never get a haircut there that I like. But the last time I went in I decided I would never go back again. I asked for highlights. The woman was very helpful picking out colors and I was VERY specific about how I wanted it done. When my hair was finished and I got a good look at it I was horrified. It looked like a three year old had finger painted bright blond, fat streaks of paint in my hair dark brown hair. I politely asked about it, she said (sounding a little unsure) it would blend in after a week or so. It never did. I wore a hat for two weeks and then had my sister dye it for me after talking to a woman at the salon. She said they could try and make it more to my liking but I refuse to let them touch my hair again.
