Every time we come in Saturday there are only two people working with lines galore. Why have 6 stations if you never can staff?
I walked in to Fantastic Sams to find two employees. The one that met me at the register was incredibly snobby, in addition to being cranky and rude. She basically made me feel bad for coming to get a haircut, like I was responsible for all the problems in her life. She then told me the wait would be an hour long, in a very demeaning tone, like she was trying to get me to leave. Well, there was only one guy in front of me and the other employee was giving me a haircut in less than 10 minutes. This second employee was much nicer and incredibly fun to talk to. Meanwhile I could hear the first employee complaining to the man she was giving a haircut to about how they're understaffed and so on and so on. Mostly, it was just a lot of complaining. Anyway, the lady giving me a haircut was incredibly fun to talk to. Unfortunately she gave me one of the worst haircuts of my life. Never have I gotten a haircut so bad at Fantastic Sams. It should have been a very basic haircut but instead it was so uneven and disproportioned that it looked like I had a volcano growing off the back of my head. Not just that but she did a horrible job shaving off the back of my neck and my sideburns. It was all incredibly patchy and uneven. I just wanted my hair to look nice before I went back to college, but apparently that's too much to ask for at Fantastic Sams. Lastly, when I went to pay, the employee informed me that they recently upped their prices. Yeah, because that's something you should tell your customers AFTER you give them the haircut. At the very least they could have updated their prices chart beforehand.
