Famous Hair & Nails Salon in Long Beach, CA

I'm so sad , it took me so long to grow out my hair to end up all chopped off. I went somewhere else and they wouldn't touch it because it will end up super short. I was supposed to get long front layers. I ended up with this. It's very uneven and I just have short random hair everywhere.

I've been going to Famous since I was a young girl. It's the only place I've ever gotten my hair cut. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. I requested my bangs to be shorter and the layers at the front to be shorter. I did not say anything else. I walked in with my hair parted to the right and I walked out with a middle part I did not request. The woman who cut my hair also proceeded to give me unsolicited skin care advice, telling me to watch what I eat, to avoid oily and fried foods, and to make sure I wash my skin and face because I'm at the age where clogged skin is common. I went in for a hair cut, not a skin consultation. This was the last straw, I will no longer be doing business here.

i would only do my hair in here. The owner and all the other ladies are nice and great on their job. Dont let the the creepy dude do your nails or hair. He kept telling me that the black nail polish that I picked does not fit me because of my skin tone. Then he kept complaining that my nails are short. As he's doing my nails, he kept recommending other colors too. When i didnt budge, he left me alone on the chair when done doing his job. Then he started doing another girls hair. I sat there so long until I finally stood up and paid. (The nail polish was already dry after 5 mins but I sat there more than 15 mins).

I've been going to famous for almost 15yrs and Jennifer never disappoints. She's the only one who I feel like knows how to cut my hair. Quiet and relaxing environment. Everyone here is really nice.

I got my new hair style this morning, employees are so friendly , the man who did my hair did a good job , I recommend everyone who wants to do hair , this place is the best.
